@MistyCee I agree - It's difficult to comprehend why politicians want to 'stay in office' even to the degree that although the 'status-quo' is corrupted (not necessarily evil or criminal - but just 'not functioning') that they REFUSE to examine new models - or even amend the paths they are following: I believe it's because they lack confidence and would rather 'go down in history(??)' as having developed a single set of policies and followed them as they had initially planned (their 'election platform') rather than be labeled as 'flip-flopping' by trying something new.

I know for myself, when I'm unable to accomplish a task, I look for alternatives - I check out what my neighbours are doing, I look at what worked (or didn't work) in the past and TRY something different than to just stay stumbling in my steps. But then: I'm not a politician!!
