Who is going to pay for the holding and transport of all the illegal immigrants back to Mexico

And how will they stop them all coming back once they’ve been returned to Mexico?

The problem is going to be a vicious never ending circle of repetition.

Is that what the 200% tariffs on imported goods are going to be used for?

Does anyone ask who pays for the airfare to fly them into different unsuspecting places within the country? Or who pays for the hotels, or the EBT cards, or the debit cards that keep getting $1500 added every month?

@Entwistle The FAIR study, released in March last year, documented the financial toll of illegal immigration on the U.S., taking into account factors like emergency medical care, incarcerating illegal aliens in local jails, and federal budgets that pay out billions in welfare every year, pegging the net annual cost at $150.7 billion.

Arriving at the figure by subtracting the estimated $32 billion of tax contributions made by illegal immigrants, FAIR said the economic impact would have otherwise been $182 billion.

@sunsporter1649 Ahh,okay...Estimations. Cool.

I think the circle of repetition will support the Republicans just fine. Sustaining the level of fear and mistrust necessary to keep them in office, while do nothing in reality to stop the supply of cheap immigrant labour.

@SunshineGirl EXACTLY

Beyond that.

Who is going to do -all the jobs they do-. There's like 12 million people there. I don't see the conservatives volunteering to pick tomatoes for less than minimum wage.
Ohhh...so now you're admitting illegal immigration is an issue? 🤣🤣🤣

If you hadn't noticed, taxpayers had already been shelling out $200 billion per year to pay for illegals. The incremental cost to deport will save us $$$ in the long run. And the US can leverage that massive defense budget by having the military lead deportation efforts, so the incremental costs won't be as burdensome.

Illegals didn't all come from Mexico...they just crossed the border there. Completing the border wall, and enforcing deportation policies will stop almost all of the illegals from every returning.

Where did the money come from to give illegals iPhones,debit cards, free food, and luxury hotel rooms?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Thank goodness all those who protest can be thrown into work camps to replace all the laborers Trump will be deporting. They can do all the cleaning , gardening and hospitality jobs for no pay as part of their punishment for talking back to their betters.. 😷

The Mexico problem will persist as long as the disparity in lifestyle between Mexico and the US. The best strategy to end the problem is for the US to invest in Mexico to make coming to the US less appealing.

@justanothername Vice President harris said on Sunday that the U.S. would provide nearly $157 million in additional assistance to the people of Lebanon "for essential needs such as food, shelter, water, protection, and sanitation to help those who have been displaced."

FEMA will only provide $750 to disaster survivors to support their recovery.

People thinking adding tariffs to imports is a good thing. Lol
The consumer will have to pay more to cover the tariffs.

@newjaninev2 Solyndra wasn't an energy market play. It was a Democrat pay-off with taxpayer funds.

@Entwistle Tariffs are a good thing when used to protect industries a large adversarial country is trying to destroy. You have probably never worked in a capital intensive industry before, have you?

Are all of them from Mexico?
@chrisCA Many are actually originally from further south in countries the US is messing with like Venezuela and Honduras.

@chrisCA No, from all over Latin America, but I guess most of them went through Mexico to get here.

🤔..........Oh, it's just been a revolving border door and issues dating back to the 70's.........
Don't worry. Musk will handle it with Shiba Inu.

@BohemianBabe Like the slaves working pelosi's vineyards?
@sunsporter1649 I wouldn't be surprised if she did hire illegal immigrants. But let's be real, the Democrats generally want to legalize these people, which means they would have to be paid at least a minimum wage. Republicans want to keep them illegal.

@MarmeeMarch And I guess we just ignore the fact that Reagan criminalized mutually beneficial cross border work to stir up the racists in the GOP base?
