What is left of the Republican party, the MAGA base excists out of 3 types of people imo.
1. The convinced authoritarians, these people are radicals. For them, it's all about power and using power. These people are ideologically convinced that this is the way to go.
2. The opportunists, people that believe that: a) It won't be so bad or b) are afraid to speak up because they might loose their power or, c) That this behavior will never turn against them ... while enriching themselves and staying in power.
3. The delusional mob, whoes entire worldview gets shaped by conservative fanfiction that is pumped out in droves by media networks owned to the 1st category.
These people have no arguments, they have no morals, they have no standards. The only thing that matters is that one category of people have to freedom to opress another category that is perceived as untermenschen. That's why a lot of their political speech, sounds like the stuff you hear on a schools playground uttered by bullies that also think that they can do what ever they like to those that are perceived weaker and lower then them.
Not only did they put a Cartman-figure in the white house, it's pretty much the roll model now.
lol my dude, you're giving the wee troll exactly what he wants. See how i handled him? I dismissed him and then didn't rise to his bait...and he scuttled away because he wasn't getting the reaction he wanted.
Don't feed the trolls✌

Here’s what kills me about the coverage:
Like they just ignore tRUMP spewing massive tornadoes of unintelligible word salad that has a subject and verb, but no direct object in one free-associative rant that manages to sound like a child who’s been asked to share something about his favorite stuffed animal in class, but talks about how much he hates Brussels sprouts, instead .
@Pikachu I think that was the main takeaway of the debate: she showed everyone how easily Trump is baited by a simple remark. There has been some pushback claiming her statements were lies, but that doesn't even matter. Do people want a president that can't point out lies, but falls back to boasting about his (secret) accomplishments whenever an enemy just suggests he's not perfect?
@Pikachu consistency has never been their strong point. Biden also didn't know where he was most of the time, yet single handedly controlled the world economy, to name just one of many examples.
@Pikachu or that Biden was responsible for growing inflation, but not for lowering it. Or that he's in charge of the military screwing up, but Trump is in charge of the military doing something republicans support. They just can't make up their mind.
@Pikachu I don't mean to interrupt the exchange you and Smile on Your Brother are having, but there is a middle ground here. I have a professional colleague I work with daily. She giggles when she is nervous. But it is a mannerism and she is otherwise a confident, tough, a good adviser and able to tell important people "To stick it where the sun doesn't shine" if she needs to.
My personal belief is that it is superficial to judge Kamala Harris by her laugh. It may be a tell of of her feeling stress. But it doesn't mean that she won't be able to tell Netanyahu, Putin, or Mike Johnson or Charles Schumer to go f**k themself when the need arises.
She was a prosecutor and elected Senator without a multi-billon dollar family fortune. Give her some credit for getting higher in life than 100% of the people on this site. Her giggle hasn't held her back so far. And she has managed to inspire enough confidence in people with money that she is out-raising Trump for political donations as the election approaches.
