Trump is now older than Biden was when he took office. Partisan politics aside, have you noticed Trump appearing to decline mentally?

Do you find that the gets confused or loses his train of thought more often than he did when he was running in 2020 or 2016?

I stopped listening to Trump actually speaking when he lost the election in 2020 and i'm just now starting to listen to him again and....he seems to be getting confused and losing his train of thought a lot more.
I know he's still got the same personality and rhetorical style but he seems to stumble a lot more.

Trump supporters, what do you think?
Is 2024 Trump starting to lose his grip or do you think she's just as sharp as he was in 2016?

The founding fathers put a minimum age to be president in the constitution. It's painfully obvious that they should have included a maximum age also. 75 at inauguration would be not unreasonable?

@walabby

Yeah that should be a restriction going forward. Although i don't know if that can happen since the constitution and amendments are essentially treated as holy scripture at this point.

@Pikachu It would take an actual civil war or similar to create changes. Trump tried (and failed). Does the US have 'referendums' on changing the constitution like can happen here in Oz?
@zonavar68 The process of amending it is detailed in the constitution and typically takes a while.

@SomeMichGuy Yes, where is the equal rights amendment, where is the voting rights amendment?
@samueltyler2 Well, we DID finally ratify one of the originally-proposed amendments not long ago...

@SomeMichGuy really?

https://equalitynow.org/era_explainer/?gad_source=1 the amaendment is in limbo because of the orihginal wording

the last voting rights amendment was the 15th, that gave the right to vote to African Americans, no amendment or legislation to affirm the right to vote, to protect the rights of all, has been proposed, but not even voted upon!
@samueltyler2

The last amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the 27th, was proposed on September 25, 1789 as part of the original proposed set of amendments put forth to satisfy the call for a bill of rights. Only ten of those were ratified at the time.

This amendment--having no specified end-date for ratification--was finally ratified on May 7, 1992, making it by far the amendment with the greatest interval between proposal and ratification (202 years, 223 days, per the Wikipedia article).

The ERA failed, due to time limits imposed by Congress. This seems to be a closed legal question (Ibid). This fate also happened to another amendment.
