Maga Trumplicans like to say that the left is brainwashed (and/or actively trying to destroy AMerica lol) and of course the left says the same, BUT
...which side is more accurate?
So this is not a thread to go tit for tat on which leader or party did what. The question i want to examine is who is actually brainwashed here?
On the Trump side we hear things like "Trump is the greatest president in American history", "Only Trump can save America", "Trump is the only one who can prevent WW3" and we also hear conspiracy theories for why not everyone loves Trump the way his base does or why he appears to have done bad things and on and on. tl;dr Trump is the saviour genius who can do no wrong.
On the Democrat side....people like a lot of what Biden has presided over, they like that he's not Trump.....and that's pretty much it. There are precious few people on the left who seem to think Biden is the bees knees and NONE that i've heard of who think he's a faultless hero.
So.....which of those two groups seems the most brainwashed? Cultish?

@gol979 I'm still waiting for you people to provide some evidence that Biden is senile, or that COVID wasn't serious enough to merit quarantine rules. I'm sure someday you'll find something besides your own bullshit.
Covid conspiracies aside, you haven't really answered the question. Do you think Biden is worshiped by Democrats in the same way that Trump is worshiped by his following?
@Pikachu I hope you don't mind me answering for him. I don't think he's going to respond. It's been my experience that the people who worship Trump are usually the ones who accuse me of worshiping Biden. It's all projection.
@Pikachu its a different kind of worship but to the same statist system. Saying that, its becoming very similar. Theres nothing good to say about biden and the outsider/drain the swamp card played by trump should be a busted flush now (some are still deluded about orange man). Now both the worshippers of biden and trump mostly say, "he's better than the other guy"
@gol979 You really don't think there's anything good to be said about Biden? Looking at the employment rate in this country right now, you see nothing good? Looking at the infrastructure bill that was passed, you see nothing good? Looking at... Hell, I don't feel like looking up his other accomplishments, but come on.
@Pikachu See, this is what I mean. The Trump cult projects their own hero worship onto Biden supporters, and convinces everybody else that we are engaging in the same behavior they do.
I don't get the sense that gol979 is particularly a fan of Trump, at least not since COVID but i do think he's not being very honest about answering the question.
@Pikachu No, what I'm saying is that the Trump cult has convinced people like him that both sides are equally bad. I'm not calling him a Trumpist, because he has expressed very clearly his negative opinion of Trump. I guess I could have been clearer.
@Pikachu ive answered the question......its both sides. A vote for biden will do nothing good for the average american and a vote for trump will do nothing good for the average american. When this is pointed out, 99% of the times the response will be, "its better than the other person".......but millions will still turn up and vote.
