The 2024 Roll of the Dice is pretty meaningless if the American Taxpayers and Consumers don't understand the Lesser of Two Evils is still Evil. The Highway Robbery known as the Election will be moot if the American Voters subject themselves to the Corporate Duopoly of Republicans and Democrats and their cannibalistic Corporate paymasters. We are already approaching Critical Mass, at which ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. We're at a Constitutional Crisis!

The outlook is dire due to theutter and appalling ignorance of the American Public —and those who represent them—about their Freedoms, History, and how the Government is supposed to operate.

Morris Berman pointed out in his bookDark Ages America, “70 percent of American adults cannot name their Senators or Congressmen; more than half don't know the actual number of Senators, and nearly a quarter cannot name a single right guaranteed by the First Amendment. Over 63% percent cannot name the 3 Branches of Government. Other studies reveal that uninformed or undecided American Voters often vote for the Candidate whose name and packaging (e.g., logo) are the most powerful; color is apparently a major factor in their decision.” How pathetic for the Most Powerful Nation in the World!!!

More than Government Corruption and Ineptitude, Police Brutality, Terrorism, Gun Violence, Drugs, Illegal Immigration or any other so-called “danger” that threatens our Nation, Civic Illiteracy finally push us over the edge.

Thomas Jefferson warned, no Nation can be bothIgnorant and Free!

Unfortunately, the American Public, Taxpayers, and Consumers have existed in a Technology-laden, Entertainment-fueled, perpetual State of Cluelessness for so long that Civic Illiteracy has become the new normal for the Citizenry. It’s telling that Americans weremore able to identify Michael Jackson as the composer of a number of songs than to know that the Bill of Rights was the first 10 amendmentsto the U.S. Constitution.

In fact, most Immigrants who aspire to become Citizens know more about National Civics than native-born American Voters. Surveys indicate thata majority in every State but Vermont would fail a test of U.S. Citizenship questions.

Not even theGovernment Bureaucrats who are supposed to represent usknow much about Civics, US History and Geography, or the Constitution although they take an oath to uphold, support and defend the Constitution against “enemies foreign and domestic.”

For instance, a few years ago, a couple attempting to get a marriage license wasforced to prove to a Government Official that New Mexico is, in fact, one of the 50 statesand not a Foreign Country. You can’t make this stuff up!!!

Every year, the White House issues a proclamation affirming the importance of the Bill of Rights and pay lip service to the Government's commitment to upholding the Constitution and guarding against Government Abuses of Power.

The Government doesn’t want its abuses checked and its powers restricted, which doesn't holds the Constitution in high esteem. We wouldn’t be in this sorry State of Affairs if it weren’t for the damage inflicted in recent years on the Freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights, which historically served as the bulwark from Big Government.

In the so-called named of National Security, the Constitution has been steadily chipped away at, undermined, eroded, whittled down, and generally discarded that we're left with a shadow of the robust document adopted 200+ years ago.

The Bill of Rights—462 words that represent the most potent and powerful rights ever guaranteed to a group of people officially—became part of the U.S. Constitution on December 15, 1791, because early Americans such as James Madison and Thomas Jefferson understood the need to guard against the Government's ’s inclination to abuse its power.

In the America we live in today, the Government does whatever it wants. If our Individual Freedoms are restricted, it is only so the Government's powers be expanded at YOUR EXPENSE.

The USA Patriot Act, passed in the wake of the 9/11 Attacks, drove a stake through the heart of the Bill of Rights, violating at least 6 of the 10 original Amendments—the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Amendments—and possibly the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendments, as well. The Patriot Act also redefined Terrorism so broadly that many non-Terrorist Political activities such as Protest marches, demonstrations and Civil disobedience were considered potential Terrorist acts, thereby rendering anyone desiring to engage in protected First Amendment expressive activities as suspects of the Surveillance State.

Since 9/11, we’ve been spied on by Surveillance Cameras, eavesdropped on by Government Agents, had our belongings Searched, our Phones Tapped, our Mail Opened, our Email Monitored, our Opinions Questioned, our Purchases Scrutinized (under the USA Patriot Act, Banks are required to analyze your transactions for any patterns that raise suspicion and to see if you are connected to any objectionable people), and our activities Watched.

We’ve also been subjected to Invasive Patdowns and whole-body Scans of our persons and seizures of our Electronic Devices in the Nation’s airports and at border crossings. We can’t even purchase certain cold medicine at the pharmacy anymore without it being reported to the Government and our names being placed on a watch list.

Government Surveillance, Militarized Police, SWAT Team Raids, Asset Forfeiture, Eminent Domain, Overcriminalization, Armed Surveillance Drones, whole Body Scanners, Stop and Frisk Searches (all sanctioned by Congress, the White House, the Courts and the like), etc.: these are merely the Weapons of the Police State.

The Power of the Police State is dependent on a populace that meekly obeys without question. When it comes to the staggering loss of Civil Liberties, the Constitution hasn’t changed. Those who gave us the Constitution and the Bill of Rights believed that theGovernment exists at the behest of its Citizenry. The Government's purpose is to protect, defend, and enhance our Freedoms.

It was no idle happenstance that the Constitution opens with these three powerful words: “WE THE PEOPLE.” Those who founded this country knew quite well that Citizenry must remain vigilant or Freedom would be lost. Thomas Paine recognized, “It's the responsibility of the Patriot to protect his Country from its Government.”

You have no rights unless you exercise them, you can’t exercise your Rights unless you know what those rights are.

“If Americans do not understand the Constitution and the institutions and processes through which we are governed, we cannot rationally evaluate important legislation and the efforts of our elected officials, nor can we preserve the national unity necessary to meaningfully confront the multiple problems we face today. Rather, every act of Government will be measured only by its individual value or cost, without concern for its larger impact. More and more we will ‘want what we want, and [will be] convinced that the system that is stopping us is wrong, flawed, broken or outmoded."

EDUCATION USUALLY PRECEDES ACTION.

The Brennan Center concluded “America, unlike most of the world’s Nations, is not a country defined by blood or belief. America is an idea, or a set of ideas, about Freedom and Opportunity. It's these ideas that bind us together as Americans and have kept us free, strong, and prosperous. These ideas don't perpetuate themselves. They must be taught and learned anew with each generation.”

If there's to be any hope for restoring our Freedoms and reclaiming our runaway Government, we'll have to start by breathing life into those three powerful words for everything that follows in the Constitution: “WE THE PEOPLE.”

PEOPLE GET THE GOVERNMENT THEY THEMSELVES DESERVE

It’s up to us!!!
We have the power to make and break the Government. We the American Public—the Citizenry —are the arbiters and ultimate guardians of America’s Welfare, Defense, Liberty, Laws and Prosperity.

It’s time to stop waiting patiently for change to happen. We must act—and act responsibly.

Get outraged, get off your duff and get out of your house, get in the streets, get in people’s faces, get down to your Local City Council, get over to your Local School Board, get your thoughts down on paper, get your objections plastered on protest signs, get your neighbors, friends and family to join their voices to yours, get your Representatives to pay attention to your grievances, get your kids to know their Rights, get your Local Police to march in lockstep with the Constitution, get your Media to act as watchdogs for the people and not lapdogs for the Corporate State, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, and GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER!

In other words, GET MOVING!!!

A healthy, Representative Government is hard work. It takes a Citizenry that is informed about the issues, educated about how the Government operates, and willing to make the sacrifices necessary to stay involved, whether that means forgoing Monday night football in order to attend a City Council meeting or risking arrest by picketing in front of a Politician’s Office.

Don’t hinge your Freedoms on Politics since the Constitution is neutral on Politics. What the Constitution is not neutral about, however, is the Government's ’s duty to safeguard the rights of the Citizenry.

@Broache73 You don't get it but I'll explain. The deepstate made a few phone calls and visits , put a plausible competitor to Twitter out of business, and altered the election results.

The monoparty watched, powerless as it took place and apparently could do nothing about it.

And really. They were all acting kinda idiotic all along. But that one takes the blue ribbon of all commie betrayals.

What? I'm supposed to pretend as if the US is still free and it matters who we vote for?

Ya okay whatever you say.

@SteelHands
The Lesser of Two Evils is still, 9 out of 10 know that America is in deep Decline, 3 out of 4 know Corporations have too much Power over their Lives, and the Corporate Duopoly of Republicans and Democrats has failed miserably.

A Government cannot fail those it does not serve...
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@Broache73 My not being a billionaire, myself could be clouding my perception about whether corporations are back dooring polticians or its the other way around but it doesn't matter. Since it looks plain that there's a third dilbert on the scene taking turns making face cum shots from behind the drapes.

Could it be the federal reserve actually lost control of the fractional lending system by wall street queez and their morning cinnabons? Or is it our fbi and cia, pretending to be so inept that we actually need a zurdefartnmucnchausen umlundt zachurritee along with another million six figure paychecks to protect them from evil radical ordinary people that live on the other side of the planet?

So sad people can't see what horsepoo it all is.

Nobody is forecasting that. Biden is facing impeachment proceedings that will mire his re-election bid. Hunter should already be in jail...and the world is noticing.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@TexChik The media, the Democrats propaganda machine, will blow his impeachment off as Republican grand standing. Then they will praise Biden for bringing prices down. Sadly America is to stupid to remember Biden jacked up gas prices to over $5 a gallon and will go above that if he gets back in. The Republicans are to stupid to run TV ads reminding Americans if everything Biden has done. ☹️☹️☹️
@TexChik how many brothers in jail for gun possession crimes?

They wont let them out, and wont throw hunter in..

The world is watching 👍

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout California wont put murderers in

The DOW set a record high, unemployment at a historic low, inflation reducing…no sign of a certain someone’s dire warning of a devastating recession if he lost 🙂
if america votes for:
open borders
high inflation
high taxes
high energy
and a Demetia patient taboot.

they deserve everything they get...
carpediem · 61-69, M
@dakotaviper You don't have to be convicted of anything. You just need to indict. Simple as pie. The new rules. I didn't make them. They can impeach the old goat if they have enough votes. And if they don't, they cans till drag his old decrepit ass through the mud. That's the way it is.
@dakotaviper Yeah he has, he was convicted of defrauding NY
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Google sez captain may I, and Facebook says no you may not.

Uncle sam controls them. Yes they do.
Ducky · 31-35, F
I’m not on either end of the political spectrum, but everyone’s an election expert until the election actually happens. I remember Trump supporters being all smug during the last election until reality came into play. Just like Clinton supporters in the election before that.
KunsanVeteran · 61-69, M
@Ducky In all fairness to the cult members, the vast majority of them still believe Quad Indicted’s Big Lie!
Ducky · 31-35, F
@KunsanVeteran No idea what you’re talking about, no comment.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Of coures gas is cheap it's an election year.
Hows the oil reserves coming along?
Musicman · 61-69, M
Of course they are. Even though that is a lie their propaganda machine, the media, will tell everyone that because they know that the people want to be in the winning side. ☹️
KunsanVeteran · 61-69, M
@Musicman Over 60 court cases across the country were based on QI’s Big Lie and all of them lost! Now QI faces 91 indictments to further tarnish him after his two impeachments in a single term! Those are facts. Another fact is that you have been brain washed.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@KunsanVeteran One of us has for sure. You notice that after 7 years of the Democrats trying him he hasn't been convicted of anything and not only is he not in jail, but he is running again and leading Biden in the polls according to ABC News.
KunsanVeteran · 61-69, M
@Musicman You failed to notice that with his delaying and denying and lying he hasn’t beaten a single charge? Strange behavior indeed from someone who swears up and down that he’s completely innocent. The only ones he is fooling are himself and his low IQ cultists. He’s a tried and true path to losing elections—look at the last three!
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
Whoever wins. Genocide is forecasted to happen.

Both sides are saying global warming is real and humans are at fault.

The only true way to solve this is genocide 95% of the world population. Liberals and conservatives both agree on killing people
swirlie · 31-35, F
The price of fuel is not controlled by the Democrats or the Republicans, so what you've stated here is a mute point.
swirlie · 31-35, F
@Musicman
None of what you've stated has anything whatsoever to do with the price of fuel pre-tax at the pumps!

What little crude oil the USA still has in the ground (which isn't much) it either exports to other Nations or uses for it's own so-called 'emergency oil reserves'. The USA doesn't use it's own crude oil for America's daily consumption of petroleum products, the USA imports it's crude from other Nations!

The same thing happens in Canada where Canada has more crude oil still in the ground than all of Saudi Arabia and the USA combined. Yet Canada doesn't use it's own crude oil either!

Canada exports all of it's crude oil to other Nations and the crude oil Canada uses is imported from Argentina. That crude is then refined in Canada and then is either used in Canada as refined petroleum products or is exported to the USA as refined product and is shipped across the border via pipeline.

It's called creating a balance of trade between Nations, where one consumable product generates cash flow for another simply by selling and buying natural resources between Nations, which is what makes the global marketplace go around.

For one to even remotely suggest that the USA is a self-sufficient, self-sustaining Nation unto itself or is a Nation of abundant untapped natural resources is nothing more than an uneducated perception of who America is and what the USA is all about in the real world of business and commerce.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@swirlie You are definitely entitled to your opinion.
swirlie · 31-35, F
@Musicman
None of what I wrote was my opinion! I just stay informed, that's all.
