Democrat win in November 2024 forecasted.

One factor that will swing votes left is the price of fuel per gallon.
I filled the 28 gallon tank up that is installed on my Chevy Silverado TODAY (12.17.2023).
I paid $1.989 per gallon x 25.138 gallons = $50.00.

The price of fuel is not controlled by the Democrats or the Republicans, so what you've stated here is a mute point.

@swirlie Sadly that is not true. Trump opened up drilling and pipelines. Gas was abundant and cheap. Biden shut it all down making us dependent on foreign fuel. Prices soared. Plus the government also controls how much tax is on every gallon.

None of what you've stated has anything whatsoever to do with the price of fuel pre-tax at the pumps!

What little crude oil the USA still has in the ground (which isn't much) it either exports to other Nations or uses for it's own so-called 'emergency oil reserves'. The USA doesn't use it's own crude oil for America's daily consumption of petroleum products, the USA imports it's crude from other Nations!

The same thing happens in Canada where Canada has more crude oil still in the ground than all of Saudi Arabia and the USA combined. Yet Canada doesn't use it's own crude oil either!

Canada exports all of it's crude oil to other Nations and the crude oil Canada uses is imported from Argentina. That crude is then refined in Canada and then is either used in Canada as refined petroleum products or is exported to the USA as refined product and is shipped across the border via pipeline.

It's called creating a balance of trade between Nations, where one consumable product generates cash flow for another simply by selling and buying natural resources between Nations, which is what makes the global marketplace go around.

For one to even remotely suggest that the USA is a self-sufficient, self-sustaining Nation unto itself or is a Nation of abundant untapped natural resources is nothing more than an uneducated perception of who America is and what the USA is all about in the real world of business and commerce.

@swirlie You are definitely entitled to your opinion.

None of what I wrote was my opinion! I just stay informed, that's all.
