Depopulation of Gaza.

For those of you whose take on this is that this is just about taking out terrorists or think it's best understood as as a war between two equal sides, please watch this short video.

Everyone knows this isn't doable. Egypt will go to war and breach peace agreements with Israel as long as they won't have to take in Palestinian refugees.

I strongly suspect Israeli Intelligence has people and bots running ops here and on other platforms to facilitate the genocide and relocation they have in mind. Prof Shlomo Sand emeritus of Tel Aviv University called Israelis, in general, one of the most racist folks he knows of. He was born Jewish (since secular) and is Israeli. He has long decried the actions of the Israeli State. His research indicates the mythos of the Jewish State (and Palestinian State, by the by) was just that - mythology with virtually no historical/archaeological support.
Religion has long been used to justify actions.

The end result is neither had a deity-gifted state (BUT the Palestinians were here before bring displaced beginning about 1880's.)

Like all organized religions ( esp theocracies), it is a tool to manipulate, control and rationalize. No different from ISIS, Catholics/Protestants during their purges, so-called Buddhists of Myanmar, etc. etc.

No doubt the Hamas murderers also have their own. The working person Palestinian can't, being in an Israeli mega-camp of the "concentration" persuasion.

I will start by saying that there are no dissident newspapers in Israel. There are left leaning papers, and I subscribe to one, center (left and right) and right wing (started by the Canadian equivalent of Rupert Murdoch, who's now dead, but was the initial primary backer of Donald Trump. His wife carries on his hate agenda).

An interesting theory, and I don't doubt that some members of the Netanyahu government, would like to see this happen. One of the fucking morons was assuring the world that nuking Gaza was on the table. Even Netanyahu had to point out his foolishness. A number of them should be held responsible, at some point in the future, for their actions and hate speech.

It is no secret that Netanyahu's alliance's goal is to drive all non-Jews from the area, because they believe the land was given to them by God no less.

That said, the only thing that's on the agenda, post Netanyahu (and this part is certain), and for sure Hamas is gone, it to give the PA control over Gaza. This agenda is driven by the US, France, UK and to some extent, Germany. On board are the western-allied Arab countries, specifically the GCC, Qatar, Egypt, and Jordan.

In the meanwhile, I support what Bernie says.

We fought for the land and we got it back. and unlike a Jew we didn't break the ceasefire. they did and still got their ass beaten in Suez by the resistance. and it's not a new thing for the Jews to bomb kids. if you're old enough as you claim you would remember that they used to bomb school in Egypt. @Northwest Yes, the town of my birth has a large Muslim population. In the UK, most Muslims are from Pakistani backgrounds but they are still utterly loyal to Palestinians.

Starmer's comment that Israel was fine to restrict food and water to Gaza was an unpalatable line for many.

Muslims are normally the most loyal labour voters and make many are councillors in the cities. There have been revolts like this in many places too.

Sadiq Khan and Andy Burnham (the two biggest metro) Mayors are calling for a ceasefire and that has contained the revolt a little in London and Manchester.

Ultimately, labour is set to win the next election anyway but the damage is deep and Muslim voters will remember that for a long time.
