I find it comforting knowing that I'm in charge of my own financial situation and lot in life. I find it comforting knowing that a handful of skills can keep me fed and my bills paid, and if I choose, could make me wealthy. I'm comfortable knowing that I'll be compensated for my Time and effort at work and have a system that the fruits of that compensation can be traded for goods and services.
I’d find it discomforting not to have it. You don’t value something as much as when it’s threatened to end, and be replaced by something truly terrible.
I enjoy knowing that, unless Biden and his communist cohorts ruin the country beyond repair, hard work and a great work ethic, combined with great intelligence, are able to elevate ANYONE who lives here.
I've never said capitalism is necessarily bad. It's unbridled capitalism with no regulations that will destroy us. Laissez-faire capitalism, it used to be called. What that leads to is globalhypermegacorps running everything, so that if even one company fails, there's a worldwide shortage of every vital product you can imagine.
