I almost asked the same question. I did believe though, that it would not be answered honestly.
The channel had few direct tv viewers and demanded direct tv pay *them*.
But to hear the 22 ultra loud maga cultists that did have it, or pretend they did...direct tv took the most important info from them so they won't get the "truth".
Nevermind that it can be accessed on other platforms...

DirecTV said it would have liked to continue offering the channel, but that Newsmax demanded a fee—as other major news channels do—to supplement advertising revenue. The channel and a raft of GOP congressmen have claimed the channel was "de-platformed" for being a conservative outlet.

I have no satellite or cable, just internet (Netflix), however I am glad to see DTV stop carrying that GOP propaganda and hope they set a trend that spreads to other providers and includes dropping Fox. We need for congress to have a “weaponization of the media” committee to investigate and order the closing down of Fox News

We used to have DirecTV, but all the trees and the rain made it impractical.
