Does anyone here subscribe to DirecTV?

Apparently some Republican conservatives are complaining that it refuses to carry the Right wing news channel NewsMax which has less viewers than Donald Trump has friends making it not a profitable business proposition.

I don’t care if you don t watch news or any tv channel , I’m just curious.

Of all ondemand/satellite packages available, Directv is by far the most expensive and has the least content to offer. It’s also an outdated format.

DirecTV is canning the show because there’s not enough subscribers to make it financially viable. That is a money issue not a censorship issue.

You might have missed the statistic that said everyone is moving to ondemand

@MasterLee No, they get dropped. It’s not viable to hold on to a show that doesn’t attract subscribers so they get shit canned. That’s what happens to NewsMax. No audience = no revenue. Shit canned.

Big tech companies are grabbing satellite tv audiences by the millions with ondemand tv shows at cheaper subscription prices.

Republicans themselves don’t actually control financial institutions.
