I don't know what I am. I am very patient and tolerant. Would that make me liberal?

The problem is the parties no longer represent principles, they're just personality cults to distract the public during rampant corporate looting.
My gut feel is that most people are basically libertarian and liberal when it comes to matters of personal freedom, but conservative when it comes to managing the riff raff of society. Peeps wanna be as nice as they can to good folk, and aren't keen on letting liars and thieves off the hook.

I think the 'political spectrum' is profoundly simplistic to the point of misleading. It creates an either/ or mentality which produces the kind of abusive tribalism you see on SW.
It lumps in attitudes to:
* Economics: It's presented as communism one side (control by government) vs free enterprise on the other. Overly simplistic.
* Power: democratic one side <=> totalitarianism on the other. This has nothing to do with economics.
* Environmental concerns: is the science correct or can we adopt the 'if it moves, shoot it; if it don't, chop it down' mentality forever with no consequence?
* Social issues: etc.
You could be anywhere on any of these things. And sometimes the answers aren't either/ or. Should we eat ourselves to death or starve. Well... neither.
I think whatever results this poll gives will just reinforce the generalisations in people's minds. I've broken out of that tiny, cramped cell. Outside there are human beings who don't all fit into tiny boxes.

I definitely lean more left than right, but I consider myself a Progressive.
