Consequences. English for Schadenfruede.

I'm sure there is a miracle pill he can take to make everything OK. Then he can talk about it and sell them on tv again.

Maybe I don't watch enough British or French daytime TV to really know, but I have a sense that Dr Oz could only be a candidate for office (and taken seriously) in the US. Not really gloating or have anything interesting to comment really, just I think it's interesting (and perplexing, and alarming).

@Persephonee how about the brain-damaged ex-football player?
Persephonee · 22-25, F
@samueltyler2 Or him. Oh, dear.

We did have a current football player (soccer, that is) change government policy about providing free school meals to children and generally be seen as the loveliest thing in the UK since powdered hot chocolate. (He's still a guy paid millions of pounds to play a girl's game, so it's all relative...)

He didn't give up his medical career to run, he lost that many years ago when his hospital stopped allowing him to operate, and his colleagues requested he be dropped from the faculty for pushing snake oil!

{@corvusblackthorne] 😄 sounds like you enjoyed someone from turkey being stuffed even before thanks giving
scrood · 31-35
But did he revoke Ottoman Turkish citizenship?
@scrood No, he remains a citizen of Turkey, and participates in elections there.
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
There is no such thing as "bad publicity" anymore! He will come back in some form.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
I wonder why he decided he wanted to be a Senator?
@iamonfire696 He's a narcissist. He probably just wanted the power.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@BohemianBoo Yes, you’re right about that. Thankfully he lost.
