So can somebody who's 50/50 white and black or Asian attend for half the event? Somebody who's 1/8 Asian or black can go for 15 minutes? This is how idiotic this is all getting - Democrats pushing skin color, skin color, skin color on a culture where it increasingly doesn't matter. Lots of biracial families now where nobody freaking cares about the skin color.

The so-called liberals are the ones championing segregation now. Guess we shouldn't be surprised. If the people doing this were Republicans, the FBI already would have broken down their doors at 3 am. But they're Democrats so they get a free pass.

I think everyone deserves to pick who they wish to associate with or group with, but I don't believe the government at any level, or public institutions should allowed to provide an avenue nor facilities, nor encouragement when there is discrimination or exclusion based on race, creed, region, gender, etc.

Like it's OK to have a HOA meeting in a public facility where just home owners may attend and participate, but not so if it's just white or black homeowners.

This event in itself seems discriminatory. How can any sensible administration allow this kind of buffoonery...

Agreed... and I'm not always in agreement with you, but the idea should be to be inclusive of others rather than to form your own exclusionist group.
I wonder what they'd do about someone like myself. I'm multi-racial, but with more European white ancestry than anything else.... I'd appear to be white (and I don't carry proof of other ancestry around with me).

Sounds like forced acceptance to me.
If one can't change someone's mind on an issue or subject, the civil thing to do is to agree to disagree, not force one's view on them.
