University of Chicago Student Organization Hosts No-Whites- Allowed Race Discussion

UChicago United, a woke student organization at The University of Chicago, has announced their upcoming events for the academic year. One such event, “Race @ UChicago” has made it clear….no whites allowed. The event emphasizes that the event is “A BIPOC-ONLY space.”

Personally I think there is nothing wrong with this sort of meeting, nothing at all. Why it bothers anyone is beyond me.

@black4white It's not like for over 200 years POC were, are and will continue be excluded. Look, in a perfect world where we were historically and were now treated as equals, I could see some suspicion. That isn't the case. Here it is for me nothing more than a group of POC wanting to get together and discuss issues unique to them in an environment they feel safe in. That's my point of view on the matter and I see zero wrong with it.
