@NoGamesTolerated they have been doing it all along. There are some famous cases. But one that was told by me by someone I worked with. She was an American Indian and her father was the chief of the tribe. There was some talk of separation from the USA and this was when she was young. Anyway early one morning the FBI did a raid and held the entire family face down at gunpoint and did a “search”, practically destroyed their home….Every drawer was emptied out and other things thrown around and it was the entire home. What was the reason for the raid? They claimed that her father was dealing in protected bird feathers. Which he was not, they didn’t find a shred of evidence. She said the FBI did it as a veiled threat for the tribe to stop talking about separation. It traumatized the entire family and the children badly. There were 7 children in the family.

@SW-User I’ve seen too much and I’ve seen censored media trying to stop free speech when so very Americans don’t have a problem with that tells me they don’t realize what’s happening. Of course across the pond, they only have the news but here we are not sheltered from hearing both sides… I just can’t imagine that I’d even attempt to think I know what goes on in the UK or any other foreign country…

@NoGamesTolerated I would agree if never having lived there, we just dont know the inner workings. I spent 18 years as a military brat and 20 years on active duty myself. So I have seen other countries first hand. But I still can claim to be an expert on none.
