Should Trump be charged with crimes?

My question is not about whether or not he is guilty of crimes, but whether it would be good for the country as a whole to charge him even if there is ample evidence. I certainly see where there is enough evidence of crimes, but considering 40% of the country is still swallowing his #$%#, I think having him "tried" in the court of public opinion may be the better outcome in the long run. I fear that charging him will only strengthen his support.

No. There is no evidence. 1,000 pounds of hearsay, rumor, gossip, innuendo, or anecdotes do not equal 1 ounce of evidence.
@PatKirby It's all an attempt to discredit Trump. Their is no way that the Democrats want to see Trump run in 2024.

I do. He can make a run for the border for all I care. The cartels already have a position ready for Hunter - crack tester. He can test crack in his sleep.

@PatKirby And do you remember when Robert Muller claimed that based on his "report","I could not exonerate the President."Im pretty sure its not the job of a prosecutor to exonerate anyone. If you have the evidence, you charge with a crime. If not,you drop the case. The defendant is PRESUMED innocent, unless,of course, hes Donald Trump.
