So when are those conservative judges going to be impeached?

They all lied under oath, before they were confirmed they all said they wouldn't overturn Roe v Wade in their interviews..and in the confirmation hearings of Alito, Barrett, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh, who all claimed that Roe v. Wade was “settled as a precedent” and “the law of the land,” that overturning it would undermine the justice system, etc, etc....

Apparently when you are SCOTUS, perjury is no longer a crime.

It's more than purgery. In the general sense it is purgery, but lying to Congress is a separate and more serious crime than simple purgery.

And it is impeachable.

So when you ask? Well, the Democrats have the majority in the House. Tick Tock.

Maybe they are waiting for a majority in the Senate as well? Idk.

But whether one agrees or disagrees with this decision...
Whether one believes the other side lies or not...
Whether one believes in pixie dust and unicorns or not...
No one should accept JUDGES lying to Congress. No one.

@Scribbles You are correct. My apologies.

@RedBaron My humblest apologies for the misspelling. I promise to do better in the future! 😔

@sarabee1995 You are forgiven, my child. The grammar police let you off with a warning! 😂

Asking a judge how they will vote on an issue is political theater. How can anyone make a fair judgement unless the merits of the case are brought before them and they listen to the case presented. For anyone to honestly expect a justice to make his/her mind up before a case is presented is dishonest on it's face. It's NOT impeachable.

Rather, to even consider or expect a justice to take a political stand is idiocy. I see it often among dishonorable politicians and fools.

@carpediem Excellent points
carpediem · 61-69, M
@GJOFJ3 Thanks. And left or right, it doesn’t matter.
Carissimi · F
I find this hard to believe. When potential justices go through the hearing process, they don’t usually say how they will judge on an issue that comes before them. Do you have a valid source? Not CNN, or some other MSM that only parrot Democrat talking points.

@MistyCee I have never seen the circus like biden put on and then again with the Kavanaugh confirmation. Conservatives dont create witnesses in the last days and they dont savagely attack a judge and treat him like a criminal.
@TexChik McConnell has a virtue better plan. Just don't give them a hearing.
TexChik · F
@MistyCee obama was a lameduck on the way out. His nominee didnt deserve a hearing until after the election.
They won't be impeached or even investigated. It's ok to lie or attempt to overthrow the government if you are a conservative
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@independentone I know 😖
So when is Biden going to be impeached. He made promises too. Here’s one:

Still making things up? Get lost pal. You’ve got nothing to add. @independentone
@stratosranger What a snowflake, why are you afraid of a different opinion?

LMAO. Since when does watching a liberal meltdown become so funny? Good times....

They said Roe V Wade was established precedent, but never said they wouldn’t vote to overturn it. Precedent of the court can be overturned by the court. I don’t see any grounds for impeachment. The constitution can be amended to make abortion a constitutional right, but until that happens each state will have their own laws regarding this. Those laws can be changed by electing new legislators
Congress would have to act and we know how that goes..

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
@sunsporter1649 WTF does this have to do with the OP?

Don't get me wrong, I think the 9th Amendment is incredibly relevant to both the Dobbs and Bruin case on the merits, but it has precious little to do with OP's perjury question.

If you really want to argue with OP, I'd cite RBG instead.

Uh huh, sh*t happens. Libs lie all the time.
Pfuzylogic · M
The weight of creating legislation on SCOTUS Harry Blackmun was great and while he tried to encompass his truth, it wasn’t codified. Democrats got lazy over 49 years and believed the majority opinion was impenetrable. They forgot the SCOTUS consists of lawyers.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
At least some will die someday and be replaced.

In the meantime we need 60 votes in the Senate to abolish the filibuster, and pass a law legalizing abortion. If later the Court strikes it down, then we need to amend the Constitution. Then the Court can choke on it.

Or we can pack the Court.

Haven't you heard? Anything goes now and points are awarded for shameless hypocrisy.

I guess when you start burning everything you don't like, the whole place catches fire.

Never, not in this term for sure.

All liars, total power grab. Collins wanted to be lied to, however, so she could say she was deceived. Perfect political cover for Ol Shakey Bat

Perjury is a virtue according to the Undemocratic party.
