@ron122 I wouldn't say I support Biden. I think he's doing pretty good for a Capitalist and he was certainly the lesser evil to Trump. And you obviously don't really think Biden is racist. If you did, then you'd like him.

I take a look at these issues on a case-by-case basis. I'm not for renaming anything just because it's a Founding Father, who owned slaves, for example.
Here, the mountain was named after an Army officer who led a massacre in 1870 in which at least 173 Native Americans were killed in response to the alleged murder of a white fur trader. This doesn't seem like PC overreach, but a reasonable recognition of the Native Americans massacred by the United States.

@anythingoes477 Denali “ the high one” was named Mt. McKinley, then changed to Denali the name the native Alaskans had known it for years. And yes done under the Obama administration.

Given the fact that the mountain was named for a man who led a massacre of Native Americans, perhaps it was about time, hmmm? Or do you approve of genocide?
