Was Elon's Twitter Deal Really Just a Red Pill Event?

If you've been following the details around Elon Musk's acquistion of Twitter, you now know the social media company is full of fake accounts and bots, which has artificially inflated the company's value. Texas AG Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into the matter. Needless to say, it not only puts the deal at considerable risk, it could destroy sharehokder value and even subject employees to criminal charges. But it exposes something much bigger and more sinister. Twitter has long been a deep state tool to convince Americans and the rest of the world that their leftist ideology is more popular than it really is. It is an age old communist tactic.

But did Elon know that Twitter was loaded with bogus accounts even before he tendered the offer? Elon and Trump developed a good relationship some time ago, and based on their responses to the Twitter story as it unfolds, it's starting to look like those two played the deep state as a bunch of fools.

But did Elon know that Twitter was loaded with bogus accounts even before he tendered the offer?

I think he suspected.
We all did.
And then Elon suspected that Twitter lied about how many they would admit to - which should have been zero.

If Elon doesn't complete the deal, Twitter is screwed. It's now in Twitters best interest to complete the deal.

Elon is a genius.

@Budwick Its time to lower the offer to represent the actual value. Either that or walk away and watch twitter burn to the ground
@Budwick I believe you are 100% correct.

All those ghost accounts will probably bring big demands for a refund by advertisers and likely lawsuit. Problems that Musk would have bought had he not taken the pause and demanded better honesty.

If he expected that prior to his initial bid, or even knew, he tricked and beat Twitter with their own lies.

Just possibly, it also opened the question about who else in the social media and misinformation industry is is lying about users and/or viewers?

Recently I tried to get onto Twitter to read a tweet posted by Musk. I was taken to "my" account automatically. I didn't recognize the account and it's not one whose password I know. Twitter informed me that "my" account had been permanently deleted. I was given the opportunity to dispute the deletion. I tried to get into my own account, whose password I know, and could not get in so I decided to take advantage of the rare opportunity to actually have someone at Twitter pay attention, and I explained the situation.

They re-activated the account whose password I don't know, and ignored my request to reinstate my actual account...at first. NOW my old account is finally reinstated.

I mention all of this because Twitter has obviously embarked on a program to delete SPAM accounts.

They explained that the first account was thought to be a SPAM account.

It appears that Twitter is cleaning up the dead wood, or trying to do so.

Interesting concept. It wouldn't surprise me. Imagine the carnage Musk will have caused Twitter. Advertisers appear to have been been cheated as fraudulent numbers were used to bolster ad $$. Could be a class action to follow.

@carpediem :) the class action will be the tip of the iceberg. In these type cases, there will likely be a class action by friends of Twitter as a way to limit the damages. I expect Musk to outsmart Twitter and walk away with Twitter at a fraction of what was initially agreed, leaving behind both the "old" twitter corporation and the lawsuits. Karma itself if that fraction he pays becomes the funds used to settle the lawsuits rather than fill Dorsey's pockets :)

It's not just Twitter. Facebook and YouTube have lots of Bots as well

I love Elon Musk and I love Trump. 2 very smart men. Elon is not being coy about the Dems. He sees right through them. If I understand you correctly, that would null and void the sale and subject them to possible criminal charges

I hope my 100 shares are still good
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BizSuitStacy I bought at the IPO at $3.25 a share, anything from there is up
@sunsporter1649 well...you are in the green I'm sure.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BizSuitStacy So far....
Also, since Twitter is used for leftist propaganda, you can bet that Elon would use it to push his electric cars and climate change nonsense

Elon is just as bad as Biden and the rest
@Stargazer89 I think Elon has flipped.

Orange could have provided musk w insider knowledge the likes of which no person who isn’t in politics would ever be privy to .
ron122 · 41-45, M
Elon Musk is a smart man. He knew all this crap about Twitter would be exposed with his bid to buy it.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
I would have to know the details of the deal to know that.
