The Blackface PM of Canada, known as Justin Trudeau, is a colonizer because he insists on continuing the pipeline.

The genocide that was caused by European settlers didn't end hundreds of years ago. It's still continuing to this day.

For instance, there is a pipeline that is being built on Native land to this day. Justin Trudeau, the so-called PM of so-called Canada, has been adamant about advocating for its construction.

Native groups all across the nation have expressed their rejection of wanting this pipeline being built because it's going to drain a lot of the resources that are on the land they've inhabited and taken care of for over 100,000 years. Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party have recognized that the natives don't want this pipeline built and they're continuing with its expansion at the expense of the victims of genocide.

Meaning, since the natives don't want it, and Justin Trudeau does, he is the modern day definition of a colonizer and he isn't owed any respect on those grounds alone. Showing further that it is totally progressive to be against Justin Trudeau and his Party.

What exactly makes Liberals think they're on the right side of history? They're just cut from the same cloth as their genocidal ancestors.

Every race and ethnicity has had blood on their hands .

@MickRogers well you may be right , I had no idea do they did a good job of covering it up
Really · 80-89, M
@Driver2 Of course you didn't know; but now Mick Rogers has revealed it to the world.

"Don't forget, I was the first to let you know!"

This is the biggest overstatement of an exaggeration that I have ever heard. In case you don't know, energy is what fuels the modern world. Now, that being said there is a balance that can be achieved between our environmental necessities and keeping life livable for the total population with reasonable hydro bills and access to the energy that keeps society moving forward.
MickRogers · 26-30, M
@MarkPaul Your energy claim is pretty much irrelevant to anything I've said. The pipeline's main motive is to give jobs to Canadians and build the economy, not necessarily that it's "the best way to conserve energy."

Besides, even if that were the case, it would still be irrelevant to what I said. I laid out a simple train of logic and you have failed to show how it's wrong. I'll try again:

- Natives have inhabited the land for over hundreds of thousands of years and have kept it in working order this whole time.

- Justin Trudeau and the Liberals have decided that a pipeline needs to be built so people can have jobs.

- Natives don't want this pipeline built on their land yet Trudeau and the Liberals wish overrule them.

In what way is he not a colonizer?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@MickRogers He's just as much of a native as any of the rest of us. You are so filled with self-righteous anger that you don't even know what you are arguing for or against. Follow the logic trail (like a child)...

1. The modern world needs energy.
2. The pipeline is one tool to provide energy.
3. Jobs is a useful by-product (a bonus).
4. Caring for the environment (protecting the land) and producing energy can both be accomplished.
5. This is a win-win.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@MickRogers You mentioned Native Groups, dude. Besides if the pipeline will benefit the larger community over a much smaller one. The Government is going to do it.
Justine Castro squats to piss.

It's astonishing to see someone from the US criticizing the way that the colonizing invaders of other territories have treated indigenous populations.
Really · 80-89, M
@LamontCranston Semantic-pedantic with no relevance to the substance of my comment.
MickRogers · 26-30, M
@Really LOL a tu-quoque fallacy? Really?

That makes you look soooooo intelligent, lemme tell ya 🤦‍♂️

Ever wonder if instead of the Europeans colonizing North America it was Russia , China or Japan ? How about Persia

Do you wonder if any native people would be left at all ?
MickRogers · 26-30, M
@Driver2 Re-read my reply, buddy.

This isn't about Europe.
Driver2 · M
@MickRogers ok buddy
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
actually, none of the North & South America "natives" are actually native to these continents either...

they immigrated from Asia via the Bering sea at some point in the past (and certainly not 100,000 years ago...)

How drunk were you when you wrote this?
MickRogers · 26-30, M
@PrincessAwesome What about what I said isn't true exactly?

You think there isn't a pipeline being built in Canada or something?
You are a nut.

@swirlie When the average liberal's best response "yOu'Re jUsT a TrUmP sUpPoRtEr" you know you aren't dealing with someone who's intelligent enough for an adult conversation.

I can guarantee you that you score more right-wing points on the political compass than me. I don't advocate for capitalism or a nation state (like what Canada is), which means, if you do support those things, you're the conservative out of both of us. That's how it works.
