Government inaction on guns is a sign of national weakness and degeneracy

The failure to protect the innocent is part of being lawless.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
You aren't against guns you're against the violent criminals that break every law known to exist and kill people.

You can make laws until your eyes bleed and not one law is going to stop killers from killing people.

In fact if every gun in every human hands disappeared into thin air the people that began smashing people over the head with sticks and rocks would still be killing people with long steel knives, crossbows, explosives, cars...or anything else they can put their hands on.

And you pretend it's not true because you're violent and hate the idea that honest people have the ability to defend themselves. You're a evil person.

@Stopmakingsense If you happen to be the one calling the shots, that is. Anyone else are just sheep, doing what their masters tell them
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@SteelHands bragging? Denialism isn't helping people deal with weather events or covid-. It's our biggest threat. Calling me a braggart for saying so is just another conservative saying shut up to others because he's wrong.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@Stopmakingsense You can't even keep a train of thought.
On the upside the NRA seems to be circling the drain and they are a huge part of the problem. They even lobby against the wishes of their own non corporate members. But for years the corporate membership is the only ones that matter. The rest are just suckers funding their scam.
@sunsporter1649 And no, response just more distractions with very bad cartoons. Exactly as I expected.

Branco is as dense as you are which is impressive.

Yes and releasing the Texas shooter on bail only adds to the ineffectiveness in dealing with gun violence, whether in Texas or in NY State.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@soar2newhighs he's free to continue excercising his second amendment rights.
@Stopmakingsense To shoot up a school?
Oberon1 · 61-69, M
@soar2newhighs Pseudo Liberals are the most horrendous hypocrites in history. I fail to understand how the earth resists opening up and swallowing them all.
Oberon1 · 61-69, M
Yeah! Just ask Australia!
@Oberon1 Again, all you know is talking points and slogans and no history, context, or law.

Fox is right wing propaganda and outright fiction. They literally went to court to protect their "right" to lie to the public. And anyone who thinks OAN is anything but a dumpster fire is too far gone.
Oberon1 · 61-69, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow At least they haven't slandered any kids lately! CNN and MSNBC are behind Nickelodeon because they've taken propaganda to ridiculous levels and they are embarrassingly dishonest.
@Oberon1 That is some next level tinfoil. You are seriously claim Nickelodeon is what? Liberal propaganda now? 😂

I think your tinfoil hat is a bit too tight.

In the UK, they can't get guns, so knives and acid attacks are the problem. Knife Control is a thing in the UK. Maybe we have a dangerous criminal problem and not a gun problem? Do we ban cars to stop drunk drivers?
@graphite Actually, we do impound the cars of drunk drivers. In New York they were even crushing the cars of drunk drivers at one point. Not sure if that is still a thing.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow blaming something else like alcohol, of course. That's one way. It's not capitalism, it's not policing. It's not privatization... Sure.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@Stopmakingsense Nobody with two or more brain cells working wants personal and private transportation banned.

It would put every trade, every non brick and mortar commercial enterprise either out of business or very nearly so. There wouldn't be any incentive to travel to a job anymore.

You talk like a birdbrain.
Budwick · 70-79, M
They don't allow guns in your country, do they?
Oberon1 · 61-69, M
@Budwick Poor hopeless saps. All I can do is shake my head and go walk my dog.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Oberon1 Please give your pup an extra pet from Uncle Bud
Oberon1 · 61-69, M
@Budwick Thank you sir! She is so demanding and her bark pierces my skull. I think she might be a democrat!
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
I wouldn't go so far as to say there has been inaction, but the action simply hasn't gone far enough.

"F" the NRA.

There’s a lot of political cowardice involved in that inaction too.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
@StevetheSleeve trying to get hundreds to agree on anything requires a miracle
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Sounds like a defend the police people's fault to me.
walabby · 61-69, M
Gun control has been politicized and it shouldn't be. All politicians should have the welfare of all people in mind, rather than how many votes they can get.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
why not find and fix the cause for the rage and need for violence??
I'm with you on the degeneracy part, at least.
