You aren't against guns you're against the violent criminals that break every law known to exist and kill people.
You can make laws until your eyes bleed and not one law is going to stop killers from killing people.
In fact if every gun in every human hands disappeared into thin air the people that began smashing people over the head with sticks and rocks would still be killing people with long steel knives, crossbows, explosives, cars...or anything else they can put their hands on.

I always kept my firepower locked up and those I raised with kids in home do the same.
Gun safes are very affordable. There's no excuse for an adult not to keep their guns out of kids hands.
