Should Hospitals have the right to turn away Covid patients from those who have chosen to be unvaccinated?

Why should someone who makes the decision to not be vaccinated take a bed and be treated from someone who has taken precautions and had a breakthrough case?
Shouldn't the unvaccinated just stay home and deal with this virus on their own?

So stop treating smokers, people who do illegal drugs, people who vote democrat...

@MasterLee this is totally unrelated

@Candie I thought it was on the nose, especially since covid has never been sequenced nor isolated and doesn't exist
Candie · F
@MasterLee i know someone who died of covid before the vaccines came out
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Candie Of what? Symptoms?
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Start letting doctors and hospitals decide who they want to treat @sunsporter1649 @MasterLee
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@MarineBob yeah like fat people, ugly people, those with insurance...

@sunsporter1649 you really are reversing the roles. What party is fighting to restrict voting rights now? Aren't voting rights the absolute basic constitutional rights. Back to the original question, whose decision was it that a baker has the Right to decide who to bake a wedding cake for? Who fought for local rights but now wants governors to override the rules set by local authorities. Come on, let us see the forest for the trees!

@samueltyler2 Another one that has no clue except what pmsnbc tells them to think. Amusing
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 come spend an hour or 2 in my emergency room then you can talk about what I know or don't know. If you don't care for patients, see them gasping for air, don't you dare say they aren't really dying, don't you dare say vaccines don't protect anyone from dying. You are wrong, you are adding to the delusions that people have and which is causing deaths!
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 And patients with holes from bullets and sharp implements punched thru them, and heart attack victims, and automobile accidents, and swimming pool accidents....
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 we care for all of them, what is your point? Again before you talk about the patients I see daily, come on in and see it for yourself. Don't make comments without the background experienced knowledge.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 My wife was a doctor, I've seen and heard plenty
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 what kind of physician was she? How did you "see" patients, did she bring you into the ER as her guest?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 Pediatrician. And you never bring your work home. And you never study at home increasing you knowledge. And you do not associate with others in the medical profession.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 again what are you talking about? Sure my wife knows when I have had a bad day, when I lost patients. But I did keep things from her. No offence to your wife, I started as a pediatrician myself, but that morphed into emergency medicine and public health. I had almost 50 years of experience before covid.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 Then you know about hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, remdesevir, and many other ways to prevent or minimize the effects of the kung flu?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 first, it is not called kung th, you put yourself as uninformed and bigoted calling it such, second, yes I know of the data on the medications you mentioned. I also have read the original republication manuscripts about their lack of effevtiveness, except you did through one in that does seem to be useful.in some cases. I guess you tried to trip me up. There were deaths from people that took some of those apparently useless medicines.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 LOL, and people die from drinking water, as you know
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 who dies from drinking water? It is possible, but that is a different subject totally, you are showing both a lack of reference, knowledge and even relevance.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 Would not want to offend your friends the chicoms now, would we?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sunsporter1649 okay, now I suppose that is a bigot term for something. Why make yourself look foolish using such terms?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 You obviously never went to medical school, nor conversed with any real medical folks, or you would know about how things are in the real world
