Talking out of both sides of his mouth.
Open and inclusive, as long as you dont say anything against that ex president, out loud.
And the long term isnt what they are going for. They just have to make voting more difficult and keep the rabid cult foaming at the mouth for 2022.

@Carla But what happens when the next general election comes around ? Trump , or whoever the anointed one might be , will presumably still be repeating this nonsense.
Carla · 61-69, F
@RodionRomanovitch maybe. They do need an excuse to keep making it more difficult for marginalized people to vote.
They've said themselves that they cannot win otherwise.
In the very narrow minds of the right leaning citizenry, that works. If democrats win, they must have cheated and are illegitimate. If Republicans win, they can claim that there are more conservatives than liberals, and the nation must bend to the will of "the anointed one". They seem to be okay with demagoguery.
The "Republicans" on the hill care about nothing more than lining their and their donors pockets.
The cult are simply tools to get there.
Sad, sad state of affairs.

Here's the big tent they're pitching:

They are hoping for solidarity in the belief it was a joke.
The problem of the 20% of Republicans out of the 70% that believe the election was valid doesn't phase them, because they hope conservative values will swing them.
Just giving how they are thinking on this.

They think the voting public is as stupid as they are... and "the base." Maybe someone will give Kevin McCarthy a silver bowl award he can hold in his hands to easily make him think he achieved something.

The problem with living inside a bubble is you see everything through that bubble and it kind of distorts reality ;)

Kevin McCarthy is as big a suck up to Trump as Pence was.

Well said

I suppose they really do think it..or they really just know that they are the ones actually cheating and will again believe their cheating tactics will work.

Yeah. And war is peace and slavery is freedom.
