You can only vote on one answer.
Before you think to type something like "BuT wHiTe LIveS mAtTeR tOo!", I didn't say they don't.

And yes, I know the organizer of BLM is a crook, and should be in jail for misappropriation of funds donated to BLM. That is also beside the point.

Do you think black lives matter or not?

I live in Oak Park, IL. I grew up in Chicago. It should not matter what race a person is. White police officers shoot black or white criminals. An officer is trying to help his partners and protect their lives, regardless. Those who don't and pump bullets of an incredible number into a criminal/suspect should not be "servicing and protecting" our lives.
@MaryJanine This.

No if black lives mattered they would be doing something about all the blacks killing blacks instead of rising up when a black criminal is killed.
Come join my cult..
it’s called the anti bad guy revival..
No matter who we target.. they’re ‘bad guys’ right?
And we can target anybody we like with impunity.. because they’re obviously bad guys’ ..
Dont worry about facts.. just obey 🕺😎👍

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout It's a simple question. The only folks making it complicated are the ones who don't like the correct answer.

This is like one of those "do you still beat your mother?" type questions :)
Of course, my beautiful girlfriend’s life matters. She’s an Angel.
@MaryJanine My girlfriend is a quarter black, a quarter Cherokee Indian, and half white. Her Mom is half black and half white and her Dad was (he passed) half white and have Cherokee. She’s completely stunning and I could honestly just stare at her all day long. I’m very lucky to have her in my life. Thank you for your kindness. 🖤

@DarkHeaven You're welcome. I'm sure your girfriend is (to use your word) stunning. People think I am a little crazy because I am proud of the man my sister chose to marry. He has always treated me well as a relation and we have never had a cross word between us.
@MaryJanine Just means you’re a good person with a kind heart. Be well.

black lives always mattered. they didn't start mattering because an organization run by white millennial liberals said so in response to media propoganda
LordShadowfire · 46-50
@DeluxedEdition So, black lives mattered in Mississippi in the early 60s?
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@LordShadowfire so now you implying a certain period in time would equate to someone's value. black lives always mattered.

in the 60's racism towards African Americans was prevalent. that does not equate with value or worth. but by that logic, if they didn't matter why did the people feed to implement changes in which they did?
LordShadowfire · 46-50
@DeluxedEdition Please read every word. The poll asked if you believe that black lives matter. Do you or do you not believe that? That's the question. Of course they matter, and always have, regardless of public opinion. That wasn't what I asked.

The public opinion among white people in Mississippi was that they didn't matter. That's why it's important to state facts that seem obvious people like you and me. Because while it's clear to me that having more melanin in your skin than your neighbor shouldn't be a reason to hate you, some other folks don't see it that way.

@TheLastWord I used to know people who would not only vote no on this simple poll, they would create five more accounts to do it again.
TheLordOfHell · 41-45
Of course they matter. But their lives do not trump any other race's. Equality and all that shit
LordShadowfire · 46-50
@TheLordOfHell Read the entire post. I addressed that.

Certain toxic members of BLM aside, the point has never been that ONLY black lives matter, and that is definitely not the point of my poll.
