It's posts like this one that makes it very difficult to believe that the Biden administration or their supporters want to truly have unity in America. Between reading presumptuous posts/comments, watching riots and chaos this past year, and receiving countless (baseless) accusations. It's a wonder are there any mirrors anywhere in the world, and who is actually looking at them?
He is obsessed with Obama, very jealous of him. That's why he has tried to dismantle everything Obama put into place. His vindictiveness will kill him someday.
well if they are thinking on those lines as trump or one of his core base it only goes to prove what they say that trump is motivated by racial hatred is true @tring2222
Considering he pedalled the birther conspiracy and minces words when condemning white supremacists, both probably cause him and his supporters to become convulsed and foam at the mouth lol
I think just rejection and not getting his way hurts the most, especially when he said, screw this job, what do I have to do to get reelected four years ago...
I’m sure all of that factors into it. Even after being forced to admit that Obama was an American citizen just like himself, and that “birther” crap was just Trump’s obvious racism, he turned around and was posting that same rhetoric about Harris.
@Viper Interesting considering that we inherit 50% of our DNA from each parent. While Obama’s Kenyan father was from the Luo tribe and not known to be of mixed race, his white mother also had an African slave ancestor that Ancestry.com found. So it definitely has to be more than 6 % just based upon logic (which I imagine that person isn’t using). 😅
@bijouxbroussard yes, according to the person, he's 42.75 Arab.
The person also started a whole new question about it lol.
Though people were confused what she meant, after I assisted a little, they help explain mistakes (though she wasn't a full believer).
But I guess wikipedia had a link to a questionable article citing that Obama is 50% white, 42.75% Arab and 6.25 Black.
Though someone suggested, that Arab isn't actually a race, so that can't be right... but I think the people is fully into, if she reads something and agrees with it, it must be pure fact.
@Viper I have a feeling you’re speaking to someone I’ve either blocked or who has blocked me. But this is the late Barack Obama Sr. and while he was Muslim (as many are in that part of the world) nothing indicates that he was Arab.
@Viper I like how it went from "acknowledging the switch is to believe the great American lie, how stupid can a person be, democrats are the KKK" to "I'm not saying the switch didn't happen on some [level] and this is really about people looking to score cheap political points by claiming other's accomplishments"
Very informative post btw about how big business went from being liberal to conservative, bringing the republicans with them.
@deadgerbil Well it's a positive change, I'm not going to fault him for improving his knowledge base, and it's very nice that it seems like he has gotten a better understanding of history.
Where most people that started with his statement simply stay in denial (just like the one that's still saying Obama is not black).
And honestly he's right, it is weird that people are still clinging to something that happened in Lincoln's time when as explained, Lincoln's radical liberal Republicans party is dead... so really the liberals NOR the Republicans should be claiming it. But when Republicans do claim it, I do feel like point out that it was the liberal party that actually did it (Liberal Republicans) is fair game.
I'm glad you found it informative, It kept bugging me... WHY? ... WHY did it completely switch? Every so often I'd light research it, and then FINALLY got lucky.
So really big business switched from being liberals (so that could get more workers and pro-citiea items), to conservatives (when more regulations and workers rights came along)
So basically big business is just in for more power for them... and they want more opportunities for themselves, but not for their workers.
And I agree, there comes a point where society changes so much that these points of comparison begin to breakdown and one shouldn't really cling to people 100's of years ago to justify their party today or to demonize another. Like sure, lincoln was fighting a war against slavery and was the progressive/liberal of his time, but he held some unsavory beliefs about race bc he was a man of the times. If he were to time travel to today, with his mindset of being a progressive, it's kinda easy to know where he'd end up, but the guy's been dead for a long time so it's best to learn from history and move on.
Yeah, big business/money really does influence politics, I would say to a harmful degree. It's an issue that besets both sides.
neither. he will see his second term. it is painful to see the election so rigged and stolen. black woman or not. Hillary was just as bad and she was white. get another reason please
This post almost has the tone that you don’t think black men are capable. If anyone didn’t like Obama it’s because he’s Arab and a democrat. It’s just not simply because his skin is dark.
