@latinbutterfly he admitted in February that he purposely tried to downplay the dangers of the virus. He said it on tape! He admitted that, despite his public comments to the contrary, that covid is worse than the worst influenza.

@luv2fish by now you should understand that putting any fake diagnosis onto a medical invoice is a felony. You also should know that there are many cases who suffered sudden deaths as a complication of covid. It is time now to start believing in science, not nonsense propaganda!

@Graylight I seriously wonder why this fact doesn't bother people so much. I get it, politicians lie. However, a world leader lying about something so insignificant as and as unimportant makes me question a persons sanity.

@SW-User His sanity I worry about, but it's the rabid and blind loyalty his core support base shows him that really unsettles me. That there could be so many hateful people now emboldened in this country is a distressing thought.

@SW-User The question had come up, because Trump doesn’t have a lot of credibility in terms of truthfulness. However, his being flown to Walter Reed today has given the report more plausibility.

@SW-User I have honestly considered that I do think he knows he is losing on popularity to Biden and that he is at risk of losing the election and it wouldnt be out of the ordinary for him to lie but I dont think he is lying about having it but I do think he will try to manipulate it to his advantage to seek sympathy and make excuses about how it is effecting his campaign

As of yesterday he was asymptomatic.
However he will be lucky if he stays that way.
60% of 70-year-olds get it bad, and so do 40% of obese people. Doctors assess his BMI as just at the threshold for obesity.

@homespun2 Yep, he sure does. I doubt he'll ever stop lying. The trouble is, sometimes he does tell the truth. So everything has to be fact checked from independent evidence. I think the doctors can be trusted to be honest in their reports. So many people were involved that at least one would have leaked the test results themselves if there had been a fraud concerning Trump's experience of COVID. As it is, his privileged position got him the best and most expensive drugs in the country, and he was able to recover in time to complete his campaign for re-election.
