He is the opposite of Trump.

He gave a strong speech the other speech the other day promising strong action on climate change. And in his speeches he encourages Americans to unite, the opposite of Trump who constantly incites hostility and division between Americans.

I like that he's non-ideological and pragmatic in his approach to policy. He has a long history of voting on and helping to broker bipartisan bills, which feels like something impossible to do these days.

With a nation as divided and polarized as ours is, I think that kind of experience and disposition could go a long way into healing a lot of the open sores this country is experiencing
