Don't you wish more people realized

You can have different political views and still be good friends. Some of my best friends are on the other side of the field, But we just don't discuss politics and we get along great!
Tired of Hollywood
Tired of sport stars..
all left highschool early to pursue their dreams.
We meant to accept they they are ‘more in the know’ and educated about any issue.

Do we really think these assholes that attack trump have been privy to a single thing/ decision trump has made. ?
And they are kept updated Through elitist privilege about political things more the average citizen?

PA...lease 😏

Yeah, here's how that sounds to your president:
Trump said his anger about a recent Democratic ad that highlighted his alleged comments disparaging dead American soldiers had freed him to take his campaign to the next level: "Now I can be really vicious," he said to roars of approval from the crowd of Trump supporters in Minden.

The President, who has long relished his role as a divider who amasses power by creating a climate of fear, went on to describe his opponent, Joe Biden, as "shot" and a puppet of the radical left, before accusing Democrats of trying to "lock law-abiding Americans in their homes" during the pandemic as they fight God, guns and oil.

"At no time before has there been a clearer choice between two parties or two visions, two philosophies, two agendas for the future. There's never been anything like this," Trump said during the rally where he claimed he was "probably entitled" to a third term because he's been so poorly treated. "The Democrats are trying to rig this election, because it's the only way they're gonna win," he said.
Very unifying.

@JT123 And this is where you err.

It's not about Trump. It's not about any man. It's about the country, the office and the path we decide we want American citizens to take. No one needs to say anything about Trump - he's taking care of that all by himself.
JT123 · M
@Graylight Well "Trump said" is in every paragraph. The path most want is the path Trump's taking. We're tired of lying democrats taking America straight to hell. That will be very Obvious to you all when Biden loses bad in a few weeks!
Graylight · 51-55, F
@JT123
"Trump said" is in every paragraph
is a gross overgeneralization and points to nothing.
he path most want is the path Trump's taking
Were that true, he'd have a vastly higher approval rating and entire teams of professionals would stop coming out in dissent.
lying democrats taking America straight to hell
Hyperbolic drivel based on nothing tangible.

It's "when Biden loses badly." And no, he won't.

I have fiends all over the spectrum about politics , Covid , marriage... you name it .
We discuss them but know and respect our limits .
So , we are still friends .

I for one don't have a political bone in my body. So we are friends as I don't discuss anything political. They respect that. And I respect they'll have heated debates that I will not interact with.

That's the first logical, coherent, and, above all, sensible comment I've ever heard from you on this site. Nice one, fella 😎👍

@SW-User We all go overboard trying to push our point

Many of my friends have different political views (some are Marxists), and we discuss political issues all the time because we are friends.

I’ve never understood the heated arguments people have. Has anyone in the history of mankind changed someone’s mind with an argument? We’re proud creatures who think we’re always right! Lol
Jpfunjunky · 41-45, M
@Graylight I would agree, but I would define that as a discussion or debate. I should’ve been more clear that I was referring to the heated arguments people are having over such things as politics and Covid 19.
I’ve seen long time friendships destroyed, family members blocked on Facebook, and so on. It just puzzles me why some people have the innate need to not only be right, but be hostile towards those who don’t agree with them.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Jpfunjunky Can't disagree with that. I wish that would change with a new regime, but it doesn't really matter who wins, I think. This bitter division and mudslinging will continue on both sides. The human animal is pretty bad at negotiation.
Jpfunjunky · 41-45, M
@Graylight My thoughts exactly! It won’t matter a bit. Each side throws as much mud as the other and both claim the others are racists and stupid. I’m just ducking and staying out of the line of fire lol
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Yes but people often seem too petty; also it seems that some differences are creating real hatred nowadays :(
Chasingthesun · 46-50, F
Same goes with religion... I'm Christian but I have several Atheist friends
smiler2012 · 56-60
jt123 well you have mutual respect with your friendship for each others political and that is good and understand each others views
A lot of people do t just have differing political views. Most have adopted an attitude to go along with it too. It can be frustrating.

That's really shocking.
