If your feeble sarcasm had any basis in reality, then why would the Postal Service's installed leadership agree not to take out any "more" mailboxes for now. Are you saying they are incompetent and don't know what they are doing... or saying?

Mail volume has been going down since '07. Post office service points have only been going up. Some of these adjustments are simply necessary because the whole model is in trouble.

But in this particular election? It's a no-brainer, fund the fucker. Then fix it. And don't expect it to be self-funded, this here is a service.

Bunch. Of. Junk. The USPS routinely removes low-volume mailboxes. There's at least two in my neighborhood that have been removed, one not too long ago. Democrats know they can concoct any kind of nonsense and their adoring media will believe it without question. (Who made fun of the USPS in 2009? Clue: He was elected President in 2008). USPS has lost something like $78 billion in recent years.

..Actually everyone is wrong, well somewhat. Yes, there are pictures from back then but also the US Postal service just came the other day saying that they're replacing their mailboxes with a new kind to deal with the heavy traffic with the upcoming election and whatnot more securely. So both sides are right, mailboxes are getting taken off and there was pictures from a couple of years back of it happening too. It's a thing that happens. I do love how the media jumps the gun so hard without actually you know, doing any data checking.
