Ehhh sometimes. I think sometimes he can be very smart depending on what he's talking about and then on other things he's a total idiot and has no idea what he's talking about on. Like when he blamed video games for the Parkland shooting, I was like "What are you doing, man? Video games don't cause people to be violent and there's never been any direct proof of any instances of that ever causing anyone to be violent. There's even studies for decades showing that video games actually help people to not be violent." But of course he'd think that way because he's a boomer.

Trump is extremely consistent at one thing, taking potshots at every opportunity to promote and enrich himself. He's the walking embodiment of the tactic "There's a sucker born every minute". He's an idiot when it comes to critical thinking and planning, but he's figured out he can get around that by buying experts to do the thinking for him, and getting rid of them when they threaten his power by getting new hitmen on board who dislike the original egghead. He's an idiot who understands how to tap into other idiots, and how to be a useful idiot for the bigger sharks in the world, that's not a skill to be sneezed at.
