Why cant the press , paparazzi etc leave the royals alone .

On the flip side, if you are going to take £24 million of tax payers money to redecorate a cottage in Windsor then say you are moving to Canada a month later, the tax payers are well with in their right to throw dung at the Sussexes. If they are going to live off public money, they should expect the wants and needs of the public.

I don’t agree. There are limits, especially regarding children, which should be, and usually are, respected. But otherwise, if you are a public figure you have to accept that your life is to some extent public. In one sense, I suppose, it is unlucky if you are born into royalty and don’t like it, but in another sense you are born into an extremely privileged position and have to take the rough with the smooth. The one respect in which I do have sympathy for the Duke of Sussex is that his mother died in tragic circumstances when he was young. As to the Duchess, God help us, she has only herself to blame.

Meghan made enemies. She didn't respect long standing traditions. plus the overspending and her air of entitlement. People caught her in lies and felt she had a hidden agenda. now she has really stepped in it. she will get blamed for this whole brexit ....so she didn't help herself. she should have just been a little more compliant

Harry has no royal blood. He is not a royal. This is everybody’s way of tacitly acknowledging that.

I think you have to take into account an awful lot of media mischief-making in the news at the moment.

The whole Iran/U.S.mess. The whole Brexit debacle. And certainly whatever the 'truth' with regard to the Harry/Megan story etc.

As a rule of thumb Buckingham Palace makes no official statements on media spouted stories.
But I wonder if Harry's P.R. people are getting a serious kicking at the moment from all these leaks/statements supposedly eminating from them.

But are they planning to pay back to taxpayers the £24m spent on their house at a time when they were presumably already beginning to formulate this plan?
