Joe Biden, when he was VP, threatened to withhold $1 billion in United States loan guarantees if Ukraine’s leaders did not dismiss the country’s top prosecutor, who had been accused of turning a blind eye to corruption in his own office and among the political elite.
Among those who had a stake in the outcome was Hunter Biden, Mr. Biden’s younger son, who at the time was on the board of an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch who had been in the sights of the fired prosecutor general.
I see no harm in asking the Ukrainian government to look into that matter

@GJOFJ3 You keep playing the same 52 second clip of Biden representing the USA interests... along with the EU, the Ukraine government, and the United Nations who also wanted that same prosecutor fired. Why do you keep leaving that part out? You think the EU, the Ukraine, and the United Nations wanted to protect Biden's son?
And... a sitting president admitting that he reached out to a foreign government to investigate a USA citizen is an abuse of power... so even if Biden did something wrong that hardly lets Baby-trump off the hook. Abuse of power doesn't get excused because someone else did something wrong too. What don't you understand about that?

If the U.S. government can not clean it's own house, then that speaks volumes. How can we expect to other governments to act according to our own laws? This doesn't matter which party is in office! We have laws in effect! We, not others, should enforce those laws!

Technically, yes. That's exactly what the Echelon program was designed to do. It's just never been done by a world leader before.
