What offends you more:

Congresswoman Omar’s quote of “some people did something”
or
the U.S. government’s loyal support to Saudi Arabia after all these years?

To be honest, I’m more offended by the government’s loyal support to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia played a role in the 9/11 attacks but what does the U.S. government do? Turn it’s back on Americans. That’s more backstabbing than anything.
Our endless political and economic bukkake porn with the Saudis. No doubt. And we’re catching not pitching. We’ve been subverting every one of our values being Saudi’s bitch for administration after administration. It’s grotesque.

15 out of 17 were Saudis more than half were trained/educated by the usa its an insult to all Americans ,to be that two faced . but you guys just keep sucking it up.

@english I agree. and yep many of us do keep sucking it up. Sadly I do not see an end to this either.
You might want to thank George Bush. Remember he let the Saudi Royal family fly out of the U.S. that terrible (today-18 years later) morning. I know Omar is a Muslim, despite her American birth, and I believe has a desire to see a Muslim overtaking of this nation. Re: Saudis. Money talks, Bullshit walks, and the U.S. has vested interests with Saudi Arabia.
Are you familiar with AOC's reference to "people of color"? This IMO is a racist if not, an ignorant approach to lament her claims. Omar is no different. Not to be contentious, respond to me with links as to the sentiments expressed on 9/11/2019 by Cortez, Omar, Pressely, and Tlaib. Please.@SW-User

@soar2newhighs I'm a person of color and I found nothing insensitive about that. Actually the word POC has been used for several years now. Plus how is Omar racist? You're just saying stuff, but proving nothing at this point. You can't send the link? You're the one throwing all this stuff out there without sources.

@soar2newhighs Omar was not born in the US. That doesn't matter anyhow. And lmao at the grand conspiracy.
Gots to protect the petrodollars..
Now that the US is the largest exporter of energy.. and the Dons constant reminders of the feds mistake NOT to capitalise.. that relationship is on the rocks me thinks..
The latter. The fact that the west supports a "country" that is run by such narcissists they literally named it after themselves and their only disagreement with ISIS is which "crimes" deserve stoning or beheading.

The Saudis paid for 9/11 to happen. I'm much more concerned about them.

Omar the Tent Maker...no contest

Go dig up bin ladin and ask him about America's involvement
It's who you elected.

Why does it have to be an either or? It's not a competition.
SW-User
@DDonde Of course not. However, people would rather be upset by Omar's comment that was pulled out of context rather than the U.S. government supporting a country that played a role in the 9/11 attacks.

The US Government also turned it's back on Servicemen and women who returned from Afghanistan as well as from Vietnam back in `75. The US Government also turned it's back on First Responders of 911 whom are now dropping like flies from cancer they contracted from the dust storm created by the Twin Towers collapsing 18 years ago. None of those Service people mentioned have EVER been taken care of medically by the US Government, despite the massive Lobby groups who fought their own government for medical support. And the group responsible for that is the Republican side of the US Senate, namely Mitch McConnell.

as time goes by, i'll move on, and the event will fade into my memory. it will turn into a story with strange characters, tears and anger, a beginning and an end. the change from real into tale will still feel unique and painful. for now, on this day we distract each other, and know that we are (at the moment) safe. not many of my hopes and dreams for the future seem bright anymore: i'm not a father, or a teacher, or a doctor... i'm just humbled: to be here, to be alive. that's all.
