or
the U.S. government’s loyal support to Saudi Arabia after all these years?

To be honest, I’m more offended by the government’s loyal support to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia played a role in the 9/11 attacks but what does the U.S. government do? Turn it’s back on Americans. That’s more backstabbing than anything.

as time goes by, i'll move on, and the event will fade into my memory. it will turn into a story with strange characters, tears and anger, a beginning and an end. the change from real into tale will still feel unique and painful. for now, on this day we distract each other, and know that we are (at the moment) safe. not many of my hopes and dreams for the future seem bright anymore: i'm not a father, or a teacher, or a doctor... i'm just humbled: to be here, to be alive. that's all.
