I understand what you're saying though. Mueller wasn't able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that trump committed treason. Why? Obstruction. Even if he was able to prove it, McConnell is there to protect trump. That said, his report did not exonerate trump. His base refuses to believe that. The majority of them prefer not to read, rather hear the news second-hand (Fox). Maybe they will listen to Mueller testify, even if he simply reads from his report. Mueller will also reveal much more, mainly the money laundering, behind closed doors which will then start impeachment hearings against trump.

Pelosi's endgame is timing. trump is hurting himself daily. Impeachment hearings should be brought one charge at a time and dominate every TV schedule from now until election day. The Senate is useless. Let the American people be the jury. They will be screwed when trump is on the ballot for 2020 and everyone knows he's guilty and Republicans helped or did nothing. She's waiting to put them in the worst spot possible.

@SWMae Russian interference will go down in the history books - that was a spectacular op, amazing return for the money. Those boys the feds indicted will never buy a drink for the rest of their lives. I'm as proud of the Russian security services, as I am disgusted with the US ones. It was very much a big deal.

But there was no conspiracy, there just wasn't.

That's the funniest thing about Trump's obvious and hamfisted obstruction - he was never actually in danger. He just has a monstrous ego and a legitimacy complex - he couldn't help himself.
