Is Trump strong on caravans but weak on terrorism?

Trump can’t be surprised by this, considering how he has traveled the countryside leading rallies where he’s demonized Democrats. What leader goes around trashing half of his country’s people ?
And the folks who support him are very suggestible. They wouldn’t believe half the things he's said if they weren’t. So this was only a matter of time. Trump has done nothing but divide this country on every level.

What do you think? I think he has proven to do every thing he promised to do, and he got rid of Obama's JV team, ISIS.
@QuixoticSoul Bush strongly advised Obama against exactly what Obama did. This is Bush's words. All the libs and some of the cons love to talk about what an idiot he was, but he certainly didn't see a junior varsity team out there.

“I know some in Washington would like us to start leaving Iraq now. To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we’re ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region and for the United States. It would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al-Qaeda. It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale. It would mean we’d allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan. It would mean we’d be increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous.”

@puck61 Yeah, we armed the Iraqis after destroying their military - that’s expected.

I guess we could have bought the goodies from the Russians instead - would have fit their supply chain better. But then our domestic producers wouldn’t have gotten paid.
@QuixoticSoul Well, it's all water under the bridge now. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to use the words, "impudent" and "impudence", and especially " petulant" and "petulance!" while talking about Obama. I'm good for now. I think I used "impudence" on another rant. I need to start keeping better records.
You can criticise Obama's actions too. But it is a gigantic leap from saying he messed up and was tactically wrong to say he deliberately supported terrorists.
I can't see the post you're responding, the person must block me.

People can criticize Obama's actions, until kingdom come, over the Syria war, but there was only one hand he could play, and he did. The GCC countries, wanted to overthrow a regime that was allied with Iran, and replace it with an Islamist regime. While he could not stop them, he could not be part of it either.

ISIS's origins are a little more complicated. When we invaded Iraq, we disbanded the Baath Party, effectively dismantling the middle managed that kept law & order in Iraq. They were also the Sunni backbone. They immediately started militarizing, under various Islamic movements, that coalesced into ISIS.

In the meanwhile, the new Iraqi constitution, did away with the secular system, and replaced with religious enclaves, further strengthening ISIS. Syria's only hope, was the secular opposition, but the GCC countries, and Turkey (prior to the break with Saudi), did not want that to happen. There was nothing Obama could do to prevent, short of an Iraq war size invasion of Syria, and we know how well the Iraq invasion turned out.

I do love reading some of these responses. As you mentioned the idea that Obama isn't perfect is fine, all Presidents have issues, but the idea he "started" ISIS on purpose is just so ridiculous it's beyond words.

Or the idea this is some kind of "false flag op" done by leftists to make right-wingers look guilty is also pretty hilarious. The conspiracy theories some of these people believe in ... wow. Earth is flat too right? Climate change a hoax? Do vaccines cause autism? What other crazy things do you believe?

@Pherick Thanks. I posted something else just now and I'm interested in what you think.
The answer is, "James Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois, a left-wing activist" *Jeopardy theme music plays*
@Burnley123 You didn't put your answer in the form of a question, but it was wrong anyway. I wouldn't be surprised at all, if this wasn't the work of the dems themselves. It would be par for the course and they stand more to gain than anyone if they don't get busted. Obviously no one intended to kill anyone here. It is impossible to kill someone so high echelon with a 'dead give away' package bomb! Of course the perp should be punished as if he/ she/ they were trying to kill someone anyway, but anyone who gives it some thought knows it's a message or a self perpetuated attack for political leverage.

@puck61 The consequences for being found out to fake a terrorist attack would destroy careers. There is previous for people doing crazy stuff like this. Like pizza Gate.

I don't think for a second this is faked.
@Burnley123 It would be typical democrat behavior. Like the child who bloodies his own lip to get his adversary in trouble with the grown ups, or the little sister who cuts her dolls hair and frames her brother for it.

Oh, yeah, I read that in the news. ISIS and Hezballah are taking over the world. The middle eastern terrorism problem is exploding. MORE terrorist ISIS bombings!!!! Every day!!!
@Burnley123 I have visceral hatred for Soros and the leftist power figures. I guess I should be expecting a visit from the Secret service soon?
@Burnley123 I hate them because they are the most vile scum I have ever seen in my life. Completely and utterly devoid of any redeeming qualities whatsoever. Soros is the vilest of the vile.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@puck61 He's a billionaire who funds progressive causes. Like the Kochs who fund even more Conservative causes.

I don't think for a second that you would ever be a terrorist. Can you not see though how that level of anger might lead some people to commit acts of terror?
so he didnt announce that a full investigation is under way?

interesting..
@Burnley123
I'm a cheapskate so I'm gonna paddle myself.
I paddle myself once in a while, but it's just not the same............................🥺
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@puck61 I did that when I was in scouts. Long time ago though. Lol
@Burnley123 Ya know? I don't care how "leftist" you are. It's just impossible not to like you. I hope you have a great evening!

He is weak on everything
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
I would say hes strong on making insecure leftists shit their pants, weak on caring what some yob in the UK thinks.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
