What do you think? I think he has proven to do every thing he promised to do, and he got rid of Obama's JV team, ISIS.
@carsonfry amazing how effective killing them is over funding them..
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Actually, the funding of ISIS comes from Saudi Arabia.
carsonfry · 22-25, M
@Burnley123 You got some proof?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@carsonfry I think adults who purposely poop their pants and are Trump supporters are redundant.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Obama armed them to the teeth with good old Merkin war toys!

Ok. Now prove how Obama funded ISIS.

@puck61 He did give weapons to groups that became isil, yes. He was trying to undermine the Asad government and it backfired.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I think Bolsonaro could pull that off but not Trump.
@Burnley123 He also was so excited about creating a nice power vacuum in Iraq, that he left enough Humvies and other toys to keep a few battalions busy!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@puck61 I don't believe that at all.

@puck61 You said he wanted to create a power vacuum in Iraq. He didn't. I went on demonstrations against the Iraq War so I'll happily agree that it was a disaster from start to finish.

You can criticise Obama's actions too. But it is a gigantic leap from saying he messed up and was tactically wrong to say he deliberately supported terrorists.

Why would he want to? How could he justify that to himself? How would generals let him get away with it?
@Burnley123 It seemed as if as soon as GW advised him to be very careful about leaving a power vacuum in Iraq, Obama responded with his classic petulance by quadrupling the speed and carelessness of his abandonment of the mission.

@puck61 Personally Puck, this is why i never bother with the whole "send me some proof" of your claims, you do it, and its ignored.

You have some stamina sir, and I tip my hat to thee.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Burnley123 You ask for proof, someone provides it, and you just flatly state you dont believe it.

Typical.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@SumKindaMunster I provided proof lol.

You are not capable of debating in good faith so I'm just gonna ignore you.

Enjoy.
@Burnley123 Ahhhhh. Bolsonaro! Now there is a conservative's conservative!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@puck61 He's gonna bring in a military dictatorship. Is that what you support?
@Burnley123 Nah, but I do like the whole 'anachronism' vibe. Kind of a 'Charles Dickens' conservatism! Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it!
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Burnley123 No nitwit, YOU asked for proof, it was provided and you ignored it.

It's hard to argue in "good faith" when the person you are arguing with cannot even comprehend what was written.

It's humorous you claim that I behave this way, when yesterday, I noted a very reasonable rebuttal to one of your posts, called you out for it, and you decided it would be more fun to mock me and proposition me sexually, instead of addressing the point.

@SumKindaMunster Oh, nobody had any doubts about that part of things - it’s common knowledge that ISIS got its hands on a bunch of our kit over there. It’s the interpretation that’s the issue, that Obama somehow engineered that situation deliberately.

US expected Iraquis to, you know, fight for their country. We didn’t actually leave a power vacuum in there, which is why Iraq didn’t descend into a civil war and rallied back. But sections of Iraqi military were woefully underprepared and undermotivated - one of the effects of bungled debaathification policies. Tbh I think even ISIS itself was surprised by the level of their success.

That said, Obama’s policy on Syria was confused and ineffective. But Trumps isn’t any better. Then again, very few good choices to be had over there.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@QuixoticSoul I don't believe Obama purposely created ISIS. It seemed rather we backed multiple different factions in Iraq and Syria in an attempt to overthrow Bashad, and some of these efforts ended up funding and supporting factions that became ISIS. So I understand why some blame him.
@SumKindaMunster When GW warned him about the potential effects of 'bugging out' , Obama stuck his fingers in his ears and did the "La la la la la la la la la la la" thing like the impudent child that he is. Obama 'bugged out' like it was Saigon in 1975, and he did it with intent.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@puck61 Bro, Bush signed the “Status of Forces” agreement in ‘08 himself, saying we’d be gone by ‘11. Obama may have not strongarmed Maliki and company into pressuring Iraqi parliament into letting us stay like some folks think he should have, but he was following Bush’s blueprint.

At the time, fully three quarters of the American public were done with Iraq, and US military gave its go ahead as well.
