Ii used to own a car like that in the late 80s and early 90s and I really enjoyed drinking it, you could leave kees and park anywhere and no would touch it , we have narrow roadways with high hedgee rows , I would drive down those roads like I owned them and make big fancy cars pull in so they would be weiii out of way
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@cherokeepatti

The car thieves said, "You need this car more than we do."
antonioio · 70-79, M
@cherokeepatti also my daughter used to hate to be seen in it with me

Nice roof rack. If you ever find new body panels you can always haul them back to your mechanic for easy repairs/installation.
acpguy · C
At least two tires aren't flat

@cherokeepatti true. Might double as an overhead camping space
i'm sure some couples out there would think that's a nice shaggin' wagon.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@beermeplease Over the hood like some teens did over at my apartment complex. Someone I knew from work lived across a drainage canal from the apartment complex and he and his wife were sitting outside in the back yard one night drinking ice tea and talking and swatting mosquitoes and saw a teen couple do that. He he went over and got his neighbor. They didn’t make a noise until they were finished and then started whistling, cheering and applauding. 😳 They knew they got caught and the girl got her shirt and said “Oh God!” And ran off.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@cherokeepatti I think they also yelled “Thanks for the show!” 😳
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Good for a demolition derby

Jayciedubb · 56-60, M
...ticking and tacking and screeching and creaking and clanking and banging, ..lots of banging. .. ...heavy on the banging
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Jayciedubb something touching the pavement and scraping.
Jayciedubb · 56-60, M
@cherokeepatti yes.. i forgot about scraping ..also the horn grounds out on the steering column when making hairpin turns to the right. ..so there's that waning, tinny report of the horn every so often as well, like when parallel parking and Rally Sport racing and such

Holy smokes! Almost forgot about the hissing. ..the hissing of the radiator and the bald tire with the drywall screw in it

The poor man’s Porsche is the 914.
This looks like the poor man’s BMW 3 series. Is it a Fiat ?
GoldnJulz · 46-50, F
@cherokeepatti Perhaps the bags fell off of a truck going down the road?
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@GoldnJulz Could have been. The chickens didn’t die. Maybe it was like a gift from God. That family was very poor. The husband was in the military and they lived apart and had 3 children. The woman was totally illiterate, she couldn’t even count money. He would sent her a check every month and someone would deposit it for her. She was buying all of their food at the general store a block away from the house. Imagine buying every food & hygiene item you need from a convenience store. That money doesn’t go very far for a family. Nobody in the family had a driver’s license either or a running car to go to the nearest grocery to buy up some groceries. Her mother-in-law would visit once a year and I think she took the lady to the store so she could buy some food at a lower price.
GoldnJulz · 46-50, F
@cherokeepatti Always a good day when the chickens 🐓 live…
