I saw a girl on here with her photos. People were giving her admiration and compliments on her photos. Which is great. However, I openly admit to using AI and filters. I get crap for it all the time on here. But other people editing is praised? I don't get it..
You have to now assume that all photos posted online are AI generated or AI modified unless there's a way to prove otherwise. I don't know how to 'authenticate' an image as 'non AI interfered or generated'.
Pretty sure none of the existing image formats (gif, jpeg, etc.) have any provision for something like that.
This started to become a big issue with dating sites a few years ago when AI started to go mainstream, now one reason I stay off those sites is you can never tell if a 'person' is legit or not.
I was told once that by editing my photos I was cheating. Never understood that. It's as though digital artists and photographers arent allowed the same creative freedoms as other artists
@WowwGirl I have been reading up on it and there seems to me many models that are based on an original AI that have been 'tweaked' for want of a better word. They seem to train them on the subject matter that they wish the AI to favour. So, someone might train their version of the AI using porn images because thats what they want it to produce. The upshot is, that even non-porn text will sometimes produce a pornographic result.
