In the world of smartphones, what feature do you consider an absolute game-changer?

The teleport one where one can teleport from one part of the country to the other.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus would make some fun day trips and often with such a device

As of the world of smartphones or smart homes or smart cars . I have no idea because I’ve decided to stay with my dumb phone, dumb house and even dumber car. I’m happy with them and I don’t care what everyone else does or doesn’t do.

My daughter and I joke about me being like Shrek and she is like donkey.
Cake everyone likes cake, I don’t care what everyone else likes. 😂

@Majorsite me to with many VHS tapes 😂 I do have a DVD player also..

Those were fun back when I was much younger 🙃 but I don’t have one anymore. Reception became a problem with so many skips. The skips were fun , not knowing who you might be able to pick up on some days.

@Majorsite I have no TV and do not use my computer as a substitute television or for games; but still need a large monitor anyway. This one is of 21" size.

A "smart"-'phone screen, indeed anything smaller than a medium-size laptop, would be no good for some of the software I use.

silent mode
120HZ display; at first, I assumed oh it just makes everything smoother, but no it makes everything way more responsive. I always assumed that outside of gaming and certain forms of content creation, that high refresh rate was useless. On a touchscreen, having it at 120hz definitely makes the user experience much better.

I'd consider NFC to be an absolute game changer if it actually worked properly all the time, and didn't require me to set up a lot of shit just to pay for stuff. Some terminals either don't support NFC at all or just bug out when you use contactless payment, regardless if it's NFC or card.

@ArishMell the only computer I have is this iPad with cellular internet, like a phone. It does everything I need or want, maybe to much.
I’m being very good, I’m trying not to get into a rant mode 😂
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Repete LOL! No, no-one is expected to be in rant mode. If it does everything you need, that's fine.
Repete · 61-69, M
@ArishMell no ,I’m still thinking about the phone 😂 not the computer.
Computers do a lot of good things for many people only problem is there’s a lot of bad being done with them also . Sometimes a little of something good is great , a lot of good intentions turns bad sometimes.
