This is the last pic I took of my Myrtle. It was taken about a week before she crossed the rainbow bridge. I still miss her so much my heart was and still is broken 🥺

She was a beauty. I’m 75 and I can say I’d rather live a shorter time being deeply loved than twice as long without it.

Much as we love them, we can’t make them immortal. We can only love them. 😥
