We had small dogs...miniatures. They did poo all over the back yard, but it was a much larger yard, and the poos were tiny. Every spring, before the first lawn mowing, I had to do a "Poo Patrol". I bought a long handled pooper scooper so I wouldn't have to bend over a hundred times.
Better to get them early while their still frozen. I love it when you are out there just finishing cleaning them up and your dog lays a fresh one right behind you to step in.
@JimboSaturn Over my lifetime I have had many dogs and yes ..... Shit does indeed happen! I don't have to deal with snow so ours gets picked up immediately.
