Aww. Likely she thought you were special too and she was loved , well taken care of, and never suffered in life. She had the dream life for a parakeet. Sorry for your loss

I watched my hamster die once. I felt bad because he had buried his head inside himself ti die but we didn't know that and woke him out of it. We thought we were helping him but realized later that we probably made it worse. He knew he was dying. Poor little guy. I actually have a parakeet.

I cry when any of my pets die. Doesn't matter if it's a dog or a hamster or a fish. I get very attached.
