But it’s just so sad …

One of our parakeets died tonight. Not sure why I cried, but I did. She was pretty special though. We had her parents, and she actually hatched here. Only one we’ve had like that. We had her 12ish years. So sad to watch a tiny creature suffer. :(

I cry when any of my pets die. Doesn't matter if it's a dog or a hamster or a fish. I get very attached.
