I just expeienced something I would call

Uncomfortable and Awkward.

I was approached by someone I casually know from a distance
She wanted to know if I would go out and get some coffee with her, she wanted to talk about sone things with me

I can't quite tell if she's asking me out on a date...primarily because I'm pretty sure that she's married with children

I don't want to burn any bridges, plus I want to keep things professional

I had a weird experience once. There was a woman I knew but was not on friendly terms with, she had a child stillborn and then her husband left her. Shortly after that she went out of her way to chat me up one day. I thought maybe she just needed someone to talk to and I was imagining things but something felt off.. A couple of months after that she dropped out of sight and the next thing I heard she was having a baby. I think she just wanted another child and wanted to be sure the daddy wasn't part of the picture. I never heard who the daddy was but the rumor was he was married.

@robb65 I am leaning towards her wanting to discuss her health in private away from anyone else that might know her. It could very well be something along those lines, she has recently lost a lot of weight....could be a residual of something to that effect.

@Ferric67 Could be. I had a customer once who brought up her divorce. It's a small town and her ex is a local businessman. I already knew, everyone else around here knew. Upper society people, I definitely wasn't her type and I never figured why she felt the need to bring it up unless it was to be sure I heard her version of the story.
