I just expeienced something I would call

Uncomfortable and Awkward.

I was approached by someone I casually know from a distance
She wanted to know if I would go out and get some coffee with her, she wanted to talk about sone things with me

I can't quite tell if she's asking me out on a date...primarily because I'm pretty sure that she's married with children

I don't want to burn any bridges, plus I want to keep things professional

If you only know her casually from a distance, why didn’t you ask her why she wants to talk to you about some things? Obviously, you don’t know her, so that would have been my first question.

@Carissimi I want to limit the awkwardness and minimize any sort of embarrassment for her. She is a customer at where I work and I see her everyday. Last week her car broke down and I had my coworkers help her fix it on the spot. Ever since, she keeps on coming up to me and saying things....but today, she took it to whole new level.

I’d ask her what she wants to talk to you about. Going for coffee with a married woman sounds a bit risky, but it’s your life. @Ferric67
