Do you feel awkward if you're working with somebody who likes to gossip about everybody?

No, it does not make me wonder if they will gossip about me. I know they will gossip about me. I can’t stand gossips, and would keep as much distance between myself and a gossip. I may be able to restrain myself from saying something to them, but then again maybe I couldn’t. I have called gossips out in the past, but today is a different animal, so I’d have to be more careful with my words in case they call the “Thought Police.”

I don't respect people talking in other people's back so when they try to drag me into it I take a compassionate perspective and make them feel bad for judging others. if that doesn't work i pull out something about them that others could make fun of.

Yes. I do not like to engage with such people. They talk about other people to me and me to other people and chances are that most of it is going to be made up.

Yeah i can never build concrete relationships with such people and their presence is at most entertaining but mostly makes me feel uncomfortable

Yes, it makes me certain of that. Generally people who enjoy gossip in general will spread it just to be seen as "in the know", regardless of the subject. 🙁

Yes, it does feel awkward because I feel guilty listening to it and I don't like agreeing.
