Idk where's the line between raising voice and screaming or yelling for that matter. I'd say I yelled at my father before.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@CrazyMusicLover I think it goes like this: Raising your voice (speaking in a volume louder than your normal) to Yelling when you say a few words or sentences louder and with an unimpressive tone and expression to screaming when you have started talking in a louder voice, tone, and expression.

A couple of times. The same person. It didn’t feel good because I don’t like getting so angry with people but that person needed it
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
Yes my wife. It's horrible I hate losing my temper like that.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@JimboSaturn At times, screaming seems to be the only option when you can't throw things, you can't beat the shit out of. You can't leave. You scream to take the emotion out and to give a response to make an impact.
If there are other ways available, then what is screaming used for?

@Donotfolowme that fact that emotions got that high is what bothers me. Anytime a disagreement turns into a shouting march isnt good
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@JimboSaturn The reason for that is inner frustration, a hidden feeling that comes out with these triggers.
Ducky · 31-35, F
Lots of times. It's part of the reason why I'm not with them anymore.
chasingMonday · 41-45, M
I’ve never done that but I’m sure it feels good lol
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@chasingMonday Never? Well, then that means you never encountered a situation like this which is nothing but lucky
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Probably.. I don't remember what about.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@Thevy29 hey you! hows new year :)
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@Donotfolowme Hot, chaotic and fun. My brothers brought their families over so the kids could play water balloons in the backyard. I set up the tent and filled it with enough water for the toddlers to splash around in. A lotta fun but tiring.
What about you?

@Thevy29 Sounds FUN!!
Son's day care is my highlight of this month so far :)

@Donotfolowme yeah and to make it more frustrating he couldn't speak English very well so I kept having to say sorry? what? 🤦🏻♀
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@Lilymoon Oh, then there is no point in talking to them.
Lilymoon · F

Plenty. The most recent was at an elder man abusing his elder wife.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@ScreamingFox Did it help?
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@Donotfolowme sure did
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@ScreamingFox So, you think screaming helps or it's just a way people take out their frustrations?
RogueLodyte · M
Verbally, no. In CAPS, yeah. 😂
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@RogueLodyte Really? you never screamed at anyone in your life?
RogueLodyte · M
@Donotfolowme Not that I remember. I don't get rattled.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@RogueLodyte I wish I were like this.
